Just 18 months ago Chip Kelly left the Eagles a complete mess

Not that Ii
disagree with "coaching" being an issue, but I would have bet any of you with Smith, and Lee playing, we'd have won this game.

The Eagles have a professional FO that is held accountable by an owner that knows his limitations. The Cowboys have senile old billionaire accountable to nobody, playing fantasy football. It shows on the field.
there you go that is why see Jerry be forced to sell the team they will get a new owner in a real GM and all new coaches that would be a good Christmas present.

And now they are steamrolling the league at 9-1. The GM was able to unload huge contracts on other teams and hoodwinked the Vikings in giving up their #1 pick and the Dolphins into moving up in the draft. I despise the Eagles as much as anyone but have to give credit where credit is due. Meanwhile Vegas had us second to New England in going to the SB to on the verge or not making the playoffs or possibly not even having a winning record....unreal.

Sorry I must be groggy, misspelled months in the title.
Just 18 months?

2 years is an eternity in the NFL.

5-1 with Lee. Over 50% of sacks for the season have come in 2 games without Smith. I'm laughing, too. It's how I deal with disappointment, and reality.

Lee would not have helped our{anemic} offense.

That GM got a team to trade a 1st round pick for Sam Freaking Bradford!!!! Meanwhile our GM lost our stud QB to CBS........:muttley:
Our former stud QB is working at CBS because of the piss poor team building while older QBs like Brees and Brady just keep trucking along.

Way to cherry pick two names in my comment. An anemic offense that lost arguably the best LT in football, that even while hurt, and causing penalties, was better than 75% of the league's starters.

Even with Lee and Smith playing we are hamstrung with a {incompetent} coaching staff, WR's that cant get separation, a TE that cant do anything past 7 yards, an inaccurate QB, and a Defense that flat just gave up. Id love to think we would have won with those 2 playing but we lost by 28 points lol, cmon man use some common sense.

Common sense. Okay. I understand the woes of the team. We lost 2 starters on the OL before the season started, there in creating a lack of depth at position. Not to mention everyone we let walk this year on the defense, and understandably. However, when healthy, we still have the best OL in football, and we scored at will. When Lee plays, he guides the very young defense into at least mediocrity, sometimes solid. When he doesn't, we get gashed, and then crumble. We are weak at DT, which forces Safeties to play close, and without Lee, this becomes a much bigger wound, with young, and old corners covering too much field. Hey, but we get sacks now. Cool. Sadly, our OL is now the same with the departure of Leary, and Free. We didn't add any valuable depth there in the off-season, and over valued Green as a swing guard/tackle. Some of that is due to the lingering Romo contract at the beginning of the season, as well as players we need to sign long term by seasons end. No disregard to your coaching remark. I agree. It is middle of the pack. As far as a WR not getting separation, I think you should watch more film. Dak is no better this year, than last year at spotting a ball. His accuracy, due to poor footwork, and slow field reading, was the same in college as it is now. So, one of two things has happened. Dez's 1 injury has taken him from 16 TD'S And 1,300 receiving whilst playing along side that years leading rusher (who was slow as molasses), or Dak is perhaps a 2nd year, 4th rd quarterback, coached by two former back up quarterbacks, and needs some fine tuning, much like Tony got from Parcells.

Also, The Eagles are not superior to the Chiefs in any way at all, and we beat the Cheifs. We lack depth on offense, and quality on on the back 7 of the defense. Assuming we could if healthy, beat Phili, is in no way idiocy. They are us last year, with a moderately better defense

Essentially, we agree on most things, other than that a healthy team could have won. I'm a bit too drunk to debate, or converse. Unfortunately for everyone, this is when I wish to do it the most.
