Streak had to end sometime. Props to Miami and Dion Waiters. They really buckled down in the clutch. After roaring back in the 4th, I thought there was no way we could lose with Dion closing us out. But he caught fire in the last.

If you saw his interview after the game, he was so tired he was almost incoherent (even for him). It almost seemed like he ran a marathon while taking a break every 5K to take a bunch bong hits

how can you not like the celtics right now?
...because we have idiots in this world that have to make things difficult for everyone. The Celts are a good news story and I'm not even an everyday Boston fan saying this.

Basketball sucks and should be abolished. Little more than a gimmick sport. :).:muttley::muttley::muttley:.

Win or lose i can see the Lakers getting better every game every week. It's refreshing after all these years in the gutter. Next season this Laker team with no additions or subtractions will be a 5 seed, 2nd in their division behind GSW.

Lakers have to keep fighting for every rebound/loose ball. Gotta stay aggressive.

I think you will see a much different Laker team next season in terms of personal. Different how is going to be a big storyline heading into the offseason

These Rockets are fun to watch. I still don't trust Harden and them in the playoffs but fun for now

Just something that came to my head that I thought was interesting.

Since 1999 only one team has won the Western Conference that's not in California or Texas, OKC Thunder in 2012.

You can go further back to 1994 and only add the Utah Jazz who did it twice in a row, you'd just have to also add Seattle who shares the same lineage as the Thunder who did it in 96. So basically two franchises have won the West not in CA/TX twice since 94 and none of those teams won the NBA Championship.

So here's who's won the Western Conference since 1994

94 Houston Rockets
95 Houston Rockets
96 Seattle Supersonics (same lineage as OKC Thunder)
97 Utah Jazz
98 Utah Jazz
99 San Antonio Spurs
00 LA Lakers
01 LA Lakers
02 LA Lakers
03 San Antonio Spurs
04 LA Lakers
05 San Antonio Spurs
06 Dallas Mavericks
07 San Antonio Spurs
08 LA Lakers
09 LA Lakers
10 LA Lakers
11 Dallas Mavericks
12 Oklahoma City Thunder (same lineage as Seattle Supersonics)
13 San Antonio Spurs
14 San Antonio Spurs
15 Golden State Warriors
16 Golden State Warriors
17 Golden State Warriors

We came down a bit during this 5 game in 7 day stretch. You gotta beat a Knicks team that holds Porzingis to 1 point in 0-11. And not only do you lose that game, but its a double digit loss.

Good rebound win VS the Bulls, but we gotta get in done VS the playoff bound Bullets the rebuild some momentum

Looks like it'll be CLE versus either GSW or HOU.

LAL, much better and competitive but still on 11 wins is rough.
My Mavs are mostly unwatchable trash and have 10. Nice draftees to look forward to but they'll be good around 2022. Yuck.

Philly and the process is still under .500% and outside the playoffs at this time even with a mostly healthy Embiid.
I tell you guys, losing is a cancer that spreads.

You gotta cut that crap out and obliterate it.

Ill take GS come playoff time. I just don't trust Harden in the playoffs. Cleveland should roll us in the East. We have a card up our sleave in the Disable Player Exeption ( or whatever it's called) and could get us a nice vet come buyout season. But it won't be enough. Too much youth for us to get past Cleveland right now. The only thing I could see tipping the scale in our favor is Hayward making it back for the playoffs and being in a rhythm. Which is far fetched

Who do you like in the draft for the Mavs?
