He is pretty good, but I wonder where this idea that he is a "QB whisperer" came about.

He currently, right now, has zero waiting in the wings to take over for Carson Palmer.

He had success with Manning and Roethlisberger, two elite talents.

Don't get me wrong. I like him. He has style and panache. He can relate to today's athlete on levels that others cannot.

But to tout him as some fixer of Dak Prescott is not a good selling point to me.

Don't waste your time. We're not getting a new head coach and really, unless other things change above him, it would be a pretty meaningless move.

Maybe get McCarthy from GB if he is let go. Other names: Patricia, McDaniels, Ben McAdoo ( If let go).

I always hear this statement every time a lengthy discussion of possible replacement of Garrett is discussed. I just don't get it. This man is one of the biggest under-achievers in college coaching ranks. For a coach that every year has a top 10 recruiting class, he does less with more than any big name coach in college. I don't want him within a hundred miles of the Cowboys.

I don't think McCarthy is that good. Rodgers makes him look smart in the same way Warren Sapp made Marinelli look competent.

McCarthy is an improvement on the current staff. Unfortunately " botox and whisky won't get rid of that ginger puppet", to quote Shea in Irving who calls into the Dan Patrick show.

Actually he probably isn't an improvement over Garret and I'm not a huge Garrett supporter.

Jason Garrett is not going anywhere fellas...............if it wasn't clear before, it should be crystal clear now the his job is not dependent on winning.

If it was, he would have been fired years ago...........he is here because Jerry is comfortable with him, and that is more important than wins for Jerry

I like Arians a lot. But not so sure about his offense with Dak. At least with Palmer he goes deep a lot. I do know he could turn Dez into a possession WR like he has with Fitz......maybe.
