Nick Foles has more 4TD passing games in 2017 than Dak has in his entire career

Yes, Beasley is too small to function well deep where it's often a jump ball situation (yes I know he can dunk) and he does not have super deep speed or RAC elusiveness (Not like a young Desean Jackon at all).

TWill has small hands which limit what types of throws he can catch.

Witten is now a short yardage possession TE.

Dez never Developed his craft/route-running to overcome a decline in physical ability. The big contract didn't help.

Brown might be good paired with a speed WR and speedier TE but his speed is probably just similar to TWill at best.

Switzer is a wildcard. Maybe a little more deep speed than Beasley and slightly bigger but still not a burner. He is not as fast as Lucky on those Jet Sweeps.
Amen.

With Elliott in the backfield, Prescott (or any other QB starting for the Cowboys) is unlikely to toss 4 TD passes in a game.

I agree but the whole argument of Dak has bad stats because of Zeke should be thrown out the window at this point..

Dak had six games to show he was capable of throwing for 4 TDs and we all know how that went.

The team had more faith in Alf winning them games with his legs than on Dak's arm..

I think Foles is a pretty good QB but I don't expect him to win two playoff games.
Wentz was looking borderline bust last season but their FO went out and got a better Wr than we have on our roster. They have a coach that can adjust and a defense that can be relied on to make stops. Wentz has gotten better for sure but it's because of their record that Wentz is considered an MVP candidate....which Dak was one last year....because our team won a lot.
Anyone putting Cousins (who has yet to beat Dak 0-4) and Manning (who is clearly done) over Dak has a blatant agenda and bias because it's ridiculous. Dak isn't a perfect QB but he is a great leader, young, hard worker, constant winner, who minimizes mistakes and is sturdy enough to withstand some contact without worry. I was a total disbeliever in Dak coming out of college but he won me over. The guy is a winner and he will get a ring or two at some point.

Wentz was looking like a borderline bust last year? Huhh? Did you see the article by SI saying if you could start your team with anyone player right now who would it be and Wentz won... and that was before this MVP season. Last year you could tell he was going to be very very special/ Borderline bust? Get out of here with that nonsense.

Would you rather have Dak, Zeke and all the draft picks given up for Carson or Wentz?

Thats close because Zeke is very special. The trade of Bradford lessened the impact of all Philly gave up for Wentz. Looks like we got a pretty good player for Bradford in Dereck Barnett. Its close because of all the picks and how phenomeal I think Zeke will be over the next 5 or so years but Wentz has the potential to be the best QB in the NFL when Rodgers and Brady retire and having the best QB in the league Trumps everything (Not saying Wentz is the best QB in the league but in 5 years he could be).

When you factor in the fact they flipped Bradford for a #1, the price they paid for Wentz isn't that high.

That wasn't the question. I asked would you rather have Dak, Zeke and all the draft picks or Wentz.

I don't throw it out because I saw how the '93 team fell apart without Emmitt Smith.

You wouldn't think one guy would make that much difference but it appeared to me then as it does now– a mental thing.

The '93 team without Emmitt had 8 turnovers over both games... Their heads weren't in it.

Nor do I think the collective heads of this team were into the first few games Elliott was out– Prescott included.

Prescott has regressed (at least temporarily).

But these WR's don't knock my socks off. I think that is where some of the shortfall has come from.

It's part of the equation. You can pretend it's not but the cost for Wentz wasn't as high as you guys want to believe. Did Philly get a bit lucky? Absolutely.

Still a tough one. Maybe I'm being a homer but if you have someone who looks like an MVP QB and is 25 I think you take that. Not taking anything away from how good Dak/Zeke are.

I don't think you're being a homer at all. Considering everything I put on the table it makes you realize the situations between the two teams are closer then it appears on paper.

Nope. This is not semantics either. I'm not talking about the cost. I'm asking to imagine having Dak, Zeke and all the draft picks. How many extra players could have they added in the draft? Is it 4, 5, or 6? I forget. Consider all their issues in the secondary. They could use another offense of lineman and another linebacker or two. You could argue they would be better off.
