Last year after the Cowboys were crowned NFCE Champs, Philly fans and media were ready to blow up the coach, front office, QB, and entire team. They were lamenting how the Cowboys with a young QB, RB, and OL that would rule the division and conference for years to come.
One year later................listen to them now, LOL
Exactly.
Listen, y'all want to beat on Jerry and Garrett every other yearit seems. But these are the facts:
In 2006, 2007 (especially), 2009, 2014, and 2016 (especially) Dallas was in position to make noise in the 'tournament'; especially in 2007 and 2016 with HFA throughout the NFC playoffs.
They didn't get it done. Beat up on Jerry all you want, but is it his fault that two 13-3 teams with HFA didn't get it done when they were presented with a golden opportunity?
Did we lose all of our divisional playoff games (2007, 2009, 2014, 2016) because of coaching (Garrett and Co.) or simply because our players failed to execute when they needed to?
Sorry, but this "22 year drought" thing isn't so cut-and-dry as some make it out to be.
