Funny I love guitar so much being a drummer, but no matter how good a beat can be, the sound of a guitar singing through your soul can not be done on a drum set. Though I can make a drum felt through your bones... LOL

Back in '94 I got to play with Blue and the Pride at the House of Blues in Atlanta and BB King sat in to help out with us playing "Born on a Bad Sign"

Closest I got to such legions.....

That and playing with Steve of the band Kix in Winchester VA, at the Belle Star. The drummer was out and I was a server/bartender and got to play a whole set with Funny Money which was Steve Whiteman's band right after Kix broke up......

Well gp_cowpolk, it is awesome to meet you. Welcome to the Tavern. Have one on me..... Can't wait to pick your brain on blues in the coming days..... Thanks for adding some conversation I thought I would rarely have here.... Everyone here is so cool in their own way. You will fit right in.... Sadly it is now almost 4am and I get up for work at 9am..... at almost 42 yrs of age (yes a young punk), still too old to be doing such night in and night out... LOL..... I am off Thursday so I shall be around most of the day. Again glad to meet you.... Enjoy your stay here....

Have a good one I'm a retired returned to work as an independent contractor Aerospace Inspector/ QA Engineer that loves blues right now I get off at 12:30 AM nice to meet ya

Well not old enough for retirement yet but just coming back to the workforce after a broken foot. So I am doing a job I am just learning... LOL Awesome you have a career in such a much needed field that pays so well...... Can't wait to hang out again.... Good Night gp_cowpolk.

It rained one time in the last couple of months in my A.O.,,, I woke up at around 6:30 today and when it still wasn't daylight outside at 8:30 ,,,man I'd done thought that apocalyptic 3 days of darkness done hit,,,o_O
Guess I'm officially a night owl,now,,,,:lmao:

( seriously, I'd completely 'lost' around 12 hours up in my wheelhouse)

Bet I don't own a single DOORS c.d. in my inventory either ( attrition) anymore.
I remember after boot camp there was a dude who'd pulled a 4 year hitch in the Army that was made the platoons Guidon's bearer and he asked me if I'd like to go up to L.A. to visit & hang with his older brother, so we rode the bus up from San Diego to L.A. and when we got there that was another culture shock for me ,just from the bustle & vibes,,, we had to take the freight elevator up to the roof of this one high-rise,cuz' that's where this dudes brother lived,as they had 2 or 3 living units up on the roof,,, dudes brother would bring his HARLEY up on the freight lift and park it inside the apartment with him an his ol' lady:)lmao: he was none too pleased seeing a couple of interlopers wanting to fort up over the weekend with him:lmao2:,,,) but
" Poindexter & I " blew a hooter that his girlfriend twisted-up for us on top of that roof at sunset with the
" HOLLYWOOD " white painted sign up on the hillside within an easy rifle shot!,,, that lifestyle could've hooked me pretty easy ,,,,o_O
