Something I noticed last year while doing all kind of mock drafts and I know it is early now but I am seeing similar things.

It appears you should be able to get a good CB in the first three rounds and maybe more... Don't think it seems... Again... Seems like quite as deep as last year but still decent.

I Know people will talk other positions with the first few picks since we got some CBs in the draft last year and some look to have potential.

However keep I mind that there could be a time I the first few rounds that a CBs might be the best player at that spot and maybe by a decent margin.

Pretty sure that is why they took Taco last year because the DE prospects were not as deep and they felt they could get DBs of good quality later vs DEs.

So I think they go a different position in the first unless a top CB falls... More likely if a top Safety like DJ.
Otherwise I think DL, LB or WR in the first and I think there is a very good chance that one of the next two or three picks will be a CB that is too good to pass up.

Just something to think about... Cause I'm bored.

Im seeing tons of depth in cb this year & absolutely agree a Xavier Woods situation could happen where maybe u get a round two talent at the end of the fourth or something like that.

Just like last year, CB is arguably the deepest position in the draft.

I'm not sure about the first, but I'd certainly consider taking another kid in the mid rounds to take over Scandricks role once he's gone.

Not just Oscan....Brown is still a question mark. Also all of our DBs will be pretty young and still learning. Would be nice to get another DB or two to round this group off. Might also help determine who will be the slot guy, who will be left at CB or left at S instead of continuing to move them around as needed.

Chidobe Awuzie teammate from Colorado, Oliver, looks like the real deal at CB and should make it past the first round. He is sneaky good.

I agree 100%, and think just like last year you can get a quality kid in the 3rd round.

This draft appears to be loaded at CB!

If Jackson falls to 19, I'm running to the podium with the pick lol. Him and Chido on the outside with Lewis on the slot WRs.

I'm up and down with him. The coverage abilities and ball skills are there but I've heard he can't tackle.

Doesn't seem like a big deal, but with us playing a good bit of zone it's pretty important to stop the run outside.

Lewis surprised me last year with how well he tackles considering his size.

It's time to make the defense the cornerstone of this team because offense has proven unable to do so. I think it's easier to maintain success doing it that way. You cannot have enough good cover corners, I really like the way Jackson plays.

I have heard he does not like to tackle...or makes business decisions.
Some have said he reminds them of Deion, not that he is as great, but very good in coverage but does not care to tackle as much.

I read his coverage and ball skills are similar to Marcus Peters. If he is there the team needs to consider him. I think he will be drafted in the top 15.

Another guy, CB, that is intriguing is the CB from Maryland JC Jackson.
Seems to have plenty of ability and skill but has some serious off the field questions that need looked into which probably has him dropping some.

I'd love to add a great defensive player at any position in the first round. You can certainly improve all across the board on D. Heck, another great player might make this secondary elite.

3 solid CBs that could be available 4th,5th Rd area.

But if we really want'a go CB....LEVI WALLACE,ALABAMA....love this guy...always around the ball makin plays...and he tackles.
hope he slips to us in the 3rd or 4th but he is prolly a 2nd Rd guy.

Maybe the Saints will draft him.
