Bryant is in the last year of his rookie deal........TWill has only $3.5M due 2018 from his 2017 extension

Martavis Bryant - WR - Steelers
Martavis Bryant says he wants to remain with the Steelers for 2018.

2017 should have been the final year of Bryant's rookie contract, but it tolled to 2018 after he was suspended for all of 2016. Frustrated with his role, Bryant tried to force his way out of Pittsburgh ahead of the trade deadline, earning himself a team-imposed Week 8 suspension. He returned following the Steelers' Week 9 bye and settled into a steady role down the stretch, catching 50 passes for 603 yards and three touchdowns on the year. The Steelers could be open to moving Bryant this offseason, but he's an extreme bargain at his $705,000 salary. The most likely scenario is Bryant playing out his Steelers deal.

No because we have control of twill and bryant wants much bigger money. Moot point now as bryant is a free agent when it opens and we can just hand him a contract if we desire. But I wouldn't trade for him. he comes with baggage and that needs to be accounted for.

Min risk.......TWill is likely gone after 2018. Bryant is on last year of his rookie deal. Kinda like renting him for a year or one year prove it

The talent isn't close, why would the Steelers do this this? Williams is pretty lackluster.

I doubt Pgh makes that trade. Looks like Pgh needs all the help they can get on defense. Especially when Jax puts up 38 points.

CB Anthony Brown for Martavis Bryant might get Pgh's attention. I don't know if I'd do that trade though. Those two drug suspensions along with only 1 year remaining on a contract kind of sours me on Bryant.

Just Draft a Wr in Round 1 or 2. Williams will be gone after next season. We are going to need some depth at WR to keep it going. I know it’s only mid Jan. But right now I am trending to a DL or Wr in Round 1. Unless a LB or Safety drops. I am going or looking at those positions. I need some likes. :)

Of all the vet WR's that would be available, Bryant wouldn't be one of them.

In a heartbeat. Kid is looking To get paid and we can enjoy his wonderful contract year before we let him walk to the cards or whoever

If you're going to take this kind of risk then go get Josh Gordon.

Bryant would just run nothing but verticals for us. Garrett would pigeon hole him.

I see no risk in this trade, only upside, Williams is pedestrian at best number 2 and that's a compliment. It's never happening, lol at the Gordon chance, you could offer all our receivers and Cleveland would laugh at you. He's !!!!!very!!! good.
