Cowboys forum pisses me off, could they not at least gave us the decency the cut off date, instead some arbitrary timeline, that no one knew for sure? How many fans did we lose out on because of this, just a great blunder, not shocked by any means.

The answer is simple. They didn't care about the fans that frequented their site. As far as the folks we lost, they were looking when they found the old forum and they will find this one. It is not hard to find CZ.

The truth is they did us a favor. Most of us were complaining about the technical issues, which have been a problem intermittently for quite some time. Did you ever get the feeling they cared whether we were there or not? They care here. We are on a far superior site and they were more than accommodating in welcoming us to our new home.

Oops double post.

Will need some time to get used to this board.
T-C, watch that trigger finger, this one has a trigger filed to a fine point. I was used to proofing while waiting for the post to load on the old one, this one is lickity split and very responsive.

You may have talked about it but I wonder why the DC board went down? Is there a specific reason?
One reason I heard was that the old forums were not in compliance for what the NFL wanted. Probably for all the Goodell hate. Hell, I thought that one was the best because we spent more time hatin' on Booger than Goodell. And hatin' on a man paying for it was a special kind of thrill.

They stripped DC.com of it's forum, maybe they can strip Jerry of his GM duties.

Houston Texans board is still up, so I do wonder about the validity of what we were told.
There are a few teams with no forums. But it looks like most teams still have their forum, especially the bellychickens team. I think the Cowboys saw how we weren't buying into fairy dust and whip cream about winning the Superbowl and just shut it down. Everybody I talked to said it was one guy. I don't believe anybody at the death star. I support the Cowboys, not the owner.

Interesting. Maybe they shut it down to free up money for the cap.

Seriously though, I thought it was actually due to them not being able to keep people in the position to admin the site. Plus, I see Derek is still with them but I haven't seem him on talking Cowboys. I wonder if he moved on to a different position and they didn't fill his old spot.

Hope more and more people can find a place... It seems that the answer given was just another lie by the organization for shutting down the forum..
