VV = winner, I don’t like anyone coming from Alabama. They rarely do well in the pros .

He was a DE or 5Tech in a 3-4 and a DT is a 4-man front.
He had 384 snaps in 15 games of a nine year career at DT and was off the team and went to Baltimore to play DE, so in a 13 year span he played 15 games at DT. HE WAS A DEFENSIVE END.

Baltimore runs a 3-4. We ran a 3-4 when he was drafted. He moved to DT when we went to a 4-3. Not sure why you are making a big deal about this?

My issue with 1tech in the first is that free agent 1techs don't get paid as much as DEs, 3techs, WRs, etc.. Snacks Harrison in NY is the best 1tech I've see in recent years and he makes 9.2M per. A top DE or WR would get twice that.
I agree, but the only real inside guy you have is a 4th rounder in Collins. He was pretty good as a 3T, but can't hold the point of attack against 340-360 lb guards over the long haul of the game. Yes maybe early he can beat them with quickness, but they eventually wear him down, and then he gets replaced with guys who give up 40+ or more lbs. Get POE or Logan, and still draft VV or Payne in the first. IMO, you can't solidify the back end of a defense until you get the line solidified. Add beef, then worry with the speed. The DE's might be OK if you called Tapper, Mayowa, Irving, Crawford, Lawrence, and Taco all DE's at least on downs 1&2. I don't know where you would put another DE at this time.
