My favorite player in this draft is Dallas Goeder out of South Dakota State. He's a monster, and while I understand WR and LB are needs for us, this is someone to take into serious consideration in the first. Though where we are picking, it may be a little early, so I think he's an option if we trade back to later in the first.

his production is phenomenal... its tough to spend a first on a div II TE though

TE. WR. We need a threat for both positions. I don't care what order they get drafted in. We need someone the threaten the defense besides Zeke

If Ridley, R. Smith etc. are taken I wouldn’t mind a trade back to target him or Vea.

Overall I’m really starting to like this years class, good talent all around.

unless he has some insane measurables he isnt a first rounder. we have to hope he falls to us in 2nd
because i am not confident in Rico's health/future, we need a TE.
Witten is too slow now. we HAVE to have a TE that can stretch the field. Witten's inability is shrinking our offensive possibilities.
It is time to fix this.

You speak the truth about Witten. Unfortunately, I am afraid drafting another TE would be pointless, since the coaches seem convinced that leaving Witten in the game 99.9% of the time is a good thing. We have James Hanna and they can't even seem to find many opportunities to target him. And he is much faster and quicker than Witten. So, unless we have a coaching change, I don't see another TE getting enough playing time to make a difference.

Watched his game against JMU in the semifinals. Was expecting him to stand out.

JMU pass rush may have had an impact - #93 is a beast.

we already have a HOF TE in waiting in Rico

but, realistically, some in here are saying first round? if the cowboys took a TE named Dallas in the first round, then we had better already hear that Witten has retired and that the entire FO isn't listening to Jones want this player just because of his first name

now; can you imagine him playing for the giants and then this headline: "Dallas beats Cowboys with late TD catch"

Nice player, but no way do we select him in the first or 2nd...maybe if he's there with our 3rd.

Check out his buddy WR Jake Wieneke (S.Dokota St.)...probably the best hands of any WR in this draft class.

We will have to use our 2nd on him.

He's already starting to get a first round grade from experts.

So people here saying it's outlandish to use a first on him may want to look up on how the draft is shaping up. Now 19 might be a little too early, but as I said, this is more of someone to look at if we trade back.

Watchhing the East/West Shrine...and Wieneke just made a catch...out jumping everyone...for a jump ball. Immediately reminded me of a Adam Thielen (Vikings).

LOL...Just watched Wieneke return a punt...OK...He's not a punt returner.
