Are Eagles fans some of the worst fans in the NFL?

But Philthy fans are the worse. I’ve been there. And it’s worse than NY, Wash and SF all cities who hate the Cowboys I’ve attended.

They cheered for Irvin’s career ending injury. Placed bounties on our players during replacement games. They boo their own team more than anyone I’ve seen.

Most of it is intoxicated related and why they were first stadium to place limits on beer purchases. I’ve felt safer in border cities in Mexico.

Fifty one years of Super Bowls and not one Eagle victory. If and when they do finally win one expect the biggest riot (misnamed a celebration) in sports history. Those folks will go bonkers with their burning, fighting, looting, etc. I bet the members of the Philadelphia PD are among those rooting hard against an Eagle SB win.

Correct . Not all but enough .

And the ones who weren’t didn’t do enough at the game to calm their own.

In all my years at Texas Stadium I had more Cowboy fans kicked out or disciplined than opposing fans. And most of them were alcohol related .

Are they? Just got done watching Invincible with Mark Wahlburg. Philly fans have a reputation as being some of the worst fans. But I wonder..................they would never put up with a coach like Jason Garrett. He would have gotten run out of town years ago. He simply wouldnt last in towns like Philly or New York. But here in Dallas the guy gets a free pass. In fact, there are even fans that stick up for him and think he is a good coach. Imagine that? Is that a great fan or the worst type of fan?
Pretty good movie! As far as Jason in Philly yeah they would of run him outta there. Jason has hit his ceiling and I just don't see him being able to lead this team to a championship.

Up until the late 90’s alcohol was forbidden at Texas Stadium. Irving is dry and wasn’t sold at the game or allowed on the premises including no tailgating. We were and still are the most sober crowd in the NFL which I’ve always argued is why we’re one the calmest or quietest.

More than half of Texas 254 counties are dry. You can drive for hours in some parts without passing thru a wet area. Most all of the surrounding suburbs in Dallas are dry and one reason Arlington is home to teams and entertainment outside of Dallas.

Texas is a bible pounding state where even where its wet liquor sales aren’t allowed on Sunday and no beer sales until Noon. I can recall as a kid going from church to the games and many fans wearing suit and ties.

Yeah Eagle fans wouldn't know how to behave and enjoy a win. Rowdy bunch up there.

Jerry is still riding on the fumes of the 90’s. Many of the fans have walked away. I’ve always argued without that early success he would have been ran out of town .

I can tell you I was one of tens of thousands who walked away from season tickets when moved to new stadium after almost 4 decades.

Local TV viewership is one of the lowest in Cowboys history and in NFL with DFW viewership only about 25-30% compared to most Home area viewership over 4o%.

If you’ve noticed many home games there are tens of thousands of opposing fans in attendance. Jerry has turned the Cowboys into a social event not just a football game. His revenue generating streams have reduced the need to win football games.

Dallas as Troy so accurately stated is “ a winners town” .Many Cowboy fans are what I call casual or wagon fans which only are interested when we’re having success while we have a core of diehards addicted because of the 2 championship eras but very frustrated while they are still our local team watch or follow because this is afterall Texas where football is king.

I’ve never met a former cowboys fan. Actually growing up I’m mikitary towns I did meet plenty of bandwagonners. But not a true fan that just had enough

Unfortunately I know several. Some walked away initially when Landry was fired, then some after Jimmy left. One of my best friends who was a former season ticket hasn’t watched a Cowboy game in over 20 years.

The common denominator in all of these former fans is hate for Jerry.

I don't get why the idea of the Eagles getting to a SB is so traumatic. They got in the game in 2005, lost.

It is the win possibility I care about. There is no way they beat the Patriots or even the Jags for that matter.

It’s not traumatic for me. Just that their fans are going to be overbearing and smug as ever before.

Eagles fans are the worst but I'll give them credit for loving their team and not be willing to put up with this crap year after year.
Are you serious?

They have never won the Super Bowl and have exactly 3 Playoff wins since their last SB visit in 2005

Ahh that makes sense for sure. Was thinking just during the drought.

I would call them obnoxious and rude. But worst? They are loyal and wont take losing. They run anyone out of town that sucks. Not here in Dallas. But both the media and the fan base in general its blind love. Kinda like Jerry himself. He runs the team like a blind homer. And that is our GM. Sad.

Tbh, I'd actually consider a lot of Raiders fans worse (though, I did meet some decent ones at the preseason game between Dallas and the Raiders). Also, Seahawks fans are up there in being horrible along with the 49ers fans.

What difference does that make? We have 3 playoff wins since our last one in 1995. They sure wouldn't put up with the same process year after year.

They’ll be outside of the Vikings hotel tonight blowing air horns all night.

That’s actually awesome, our fans would be too busy complaining or admiring the art work at Jerry World. If this is true then my dislike of the Eagles fans just went down a little more.

Eagles definitely aren’t some of the worst.

Having dealt with a lot of Eagles fans, a few Seahawks fan, and a few Raiders fans, I'd actually give the nod to the Seahawks for worst fans.

That’s like saying the Seahawks have built a dynasty. Can’t give them the nod over a storied history of douchebags
