Need some help with WRs

Sure but not consistently unless they are uberelite route runners with OBJ quickness. You single cover 4.3 speed and don't get a good jam you will see consistent separation. Throw in route running and it's over. You need a 2 deep zone and a buzzing LB to stop it.

I just don't trust Dak placing the ball downfield. IF we cannot get a speedster the Miles Austin prototype we've gone with for 20 years doesn't help Dak.

Mike Evans is not the prototype Dak needs. He ideally would want an uberquick route guy like OBJ or an uberfast guy like Will Fuller. Those guys do make it to 19 or thereabouts but I don't see them in the 2nd much less the third unless they are a project. Projects don't run routes pretty much by definition.

I can't argue with that. I was thinking a guy gets separation more via route than speed but those guys are top 40 guys, too. We're unlikely to get what we want without moving up in R2 or just going R1. My only true R1 WR is Ridley although many would disagree with me. I like Miller and Moore maybe Gallup just not at 19. We'd want to drop down to the top 45 maybe even top of R2 outside Ridley.

I'm not in favor of reaching for a WR unless we can move up a tad for Ridley. Otherwise we take the BPA. We have a lot of holes.

I'm interested to see how Kirk runs. If he does as he is projected to then he would be a solid pick at 19. His burst out of breaks, speed, and elusiveness in space looks pretty good to me. His upside is OBJ but he is nowhere near as polished as OBJ was coming out of LSU. HE is faster though to my eye.

A receiver of some sort is a need in my eyes.

I have Kirk in R2 very outside R3 which I doubt. He has R1 hands. Some do have him in R1. His combine will determine his fate.

I was thinking more on the lines of finding a possession WR that would help Daks short game. Jarvis Landry is a FA and has a good route runner and has great hands. Not sure what he wants but probably too steep for what the Cowboys want to pay. Since the Cowboys have Switzer and Beasley they might not be interested. Ive developed this hatred for Dez and hate seeing him crying on the sidelines wanting the ball. Zeke is the star now and there is no room for Dez and his diva antics. He is a jerry guy though and who knows whats gonna happen with him.

He's a big play reciever can take the coverage over the top. Crisp route runner. He's 5"11 but he is compact sturdy built I think he would go perfect opposite of Dez check out his Youtube oh & btw im a Longhorn fan he's a aggie so my opinion isn't bias I think he's really going to be big
Would love to see Dallas get him but that is gonna cost a 1st round pick.
