Insanely cold in Nebraska (and much of the country)

This morning it was 4 degrees Fahrenheit, -1 with the wind chill here in Omaha. Fortunately, I have a garage to keep my car in. I got up early and moved my car out of the garage and left it idling to warm up. Fortunately, the roads weren't too slick. Sometimes I wonder why I don't live some place like Florida, though Florida does have hurricanes. Omaha's a small city where you can get almost anywhere in 30 minutes. I'm glad I don't live in LA where it can take hours to get somewhere. But I pay for the small town thing with this crappy weather.

It was a balmy 8° here in CT this morning, which is an improvement over last week, but quite a drag after Friday's 60°.

We have multiple days with negative temps in the morning in WV so far and I don't even know what it was with the wind chill factored in as I live on a ridge line that gets a lot of wind.

It was funny. The other morning it was just at 30 degrees and it felt so warm because we were having negative temps in the morning.

I know it has to be worse in other areas.

Not to mention Florida in the summer is ridiculous with the humidity.

70 today in Houston, wearing shorts and a tee :D

But, it is supposed to snow again tomorrow..........high of like 30. I have never seen it snow three times here ever, much less just one time. It used to snow about every 8-10 years, this is ridiculous!

Wish I had that weather. It's 20 degrees here now, and we're supposed to get another 5" - 10" of snow tomorrow night, into Wednesday.

My son lived in Omaha for about a year. He liked the first snow. The 2nd not so much.

Chillin here in Pa also. Layered up in underArmor and Woolrich but I like King of the Mountain Camo in blow down for hunting .
Been putting a 500 watt work light under the oil pan of the truck for easier starting . They are only $20 and make a considerable difference in ease of cranking when temp drop to teens and below

Just remember it is the Northeast and there is that saying that if you don't like the weather it will change. Hang in there and try to keep warm.

I didn't realize you were in Omaha too. Maybe we could meet up for a game next season.
