I'm going to say Miller is first receiver taken leaving Dallas with Ridley or Sutton. But instead we draft Baker Mayfield
How much you willing to give up? Mayfield will go top 10, prolly top 5. Might be #1.

Rosen, Darnold, Allen, Mayfield, Jackson, Rudolph

My bold prediction is Rudolph won't be drafted in the first 2 rounds.

My 6th would be Falk. I don't think Jackson or Falk are deserving of being 1st rounders, but teams usually reach like crazy for a QB.

Falk was my very best name. It's very possible 7 go in the first round. Teams tend to over draft at that position and it could help Dallas a ton the more that goes top 18 the better

How much you wanna bet Mayfield won't be taken top 10
A nickel!!!

Someone will overdraft him, w/o a doubt. Mayfield and Rosen and Darnold will all go early. NYG, CLEV(as usual), NYJ(ditto) all want a QB. And then you throw in possibles like MIA, MINNY, DEN, Cincy, BUFF, and ARI, and there is no way Mayfield slips to 19.

QB's are almost alway overdrafted. Because if you don't have a good one, everything becomes incredibly harder.

Did Rudolph play that badly this season?

I accept your nickel haha

Seriously though I think with his attitude he will fall out the top 10. You still have Allen, Jackson, Rudolph, Falk besides Darnold and Rosen. Plenty of options for teams.

I like Mayfield out of all the prospects, to me he is clearly the best and I love his swagger on the field. That's why I feel he may fall as some already compare him to Johnny Foosball......I disagree though

I hope and pray that the cowboys do their homework on Allen and Mayfield because if either of them is there at 19, we better take them or pass on them because we know they can or can't be franchise QBs and not be caught flat footed like with Mo

I think there’s a decent chance of one of the QBs drppoing to our spot.

They're comparing him to Johnny Dummmball? Why? Is he a boozer druggie and really dumb?

It's silly I know but some out there are putting their names in the same sentence with character issues
Dang, everyone except a very very few has something to scare a team. What's Mayfield done that's even close to Dummmyziel?

I mean, QB's tend to be mushroom heads to begin w/. However, none of that matters if the dude can play.

I watched Mayfield, albeit in limited games, and I thought he looked like a viable QB prospect. Reminded me a bit of Jeff Garcia.

Who will be the 5th and 6th!?!?!?

Luke Faulk and Lamar Jackson. I'm not saying they should, just teams love the fifth year option and of course teams will always reach on quarterbacks.

Grabbing your crotch and taunted guys aren't exactly appeasing to some teams. That cocky attitude, like Manziel and his money sign, turns teams off.

All that being said I love Baker. I think he will be a great player but I feel he will fall out the top 10 and possibly into the 20s because of some of those issues

He'll have to cut that crapp out in the NFL, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker to me.

Mayfield has that playmaking gene, IMO, the one you can't teach.

I'm not disagreeing with you. Baker is my number 1 QB.

I'm saying other teams won't draft him top 10 because of it. It's more likely he falls to the 20s hence the reason I said he would be there at 19

I haven't watched a lot of tape so far this year, but my bet is that Sam Hubbard goes top 15.

He reminds me of D-Law in college - OSU has him doing a lot of slants and contains and stuff like like Boise State did with Lawrence, but when they are turned loose to edge rush, they look like completely different players. He's got speed, he's got size, he's got bend, and there are times where he makes turning the corner look way too easy. Don't know how he'll test athletically, but I think he'll get more love from draftniks as the process wears on.

Dak just completed his 2nd full season as a pro, and was able to help the team get to 9-7 with several of the teams best players missing time.

He has to progress and get better but a QB in the first would be insane to me.

Hey CNU, hope all is well with you. What if there were teams trying to trade up thinking they could get a QB a spot or three behind you. You aren't crazy about picking in your spot. Would you try to convince them that you will take the QB & they should trade with you. If he is BPA (or at least highly coveted), even if you make the pick before completing a deal, you are still in the drivers seat as far as getting your terms. I'm thinking teams are willing to pay a little extra to know they get the QB they want. Could work to our advantage plus no one would be expecting it so they would literally be on the clock trying to make a decision.
