I hate the Eagles and their fans. Any situation that makes their fans throw up or lose sleep over what might have been is not just a good situation but a great situation.

The Super bowl has the possibility of being such a situation. Getting to the Super Bowl and not winning will haunt these fans for a long time. Even better, have Brady pull one out like he did against Atlanta last year or Jacksonville this past weekend and we are talking Scott Norwood and the missed chip shot field goal type of territory. Long time Bill's fans still see that miss, in their nightmares.

You couldn't ask for a better executioner than Brady and the Pats. You just know that Brady will do it and the only question is how much agony will he heap on Eagles Nation. As for as I am concerned, the more the better.

This is one of the most ridiculous posts I've ever read.

In a perfect world, the Eagles would be 0 and 16 every year. This stinks to high heaven and the only thing that can help is a Patriots victory.

I don't and it pains me as much to say the Patriots win. The Eagles bubble will collapse. The Pats have only lost one SB with Brady at QB and they've played much better teams than the 2017 Eagles. The last Eagles team they defeated in the SB was better than this one. I would never bet against Brady. The guy is amazing in his ability to rally the team around him, he bleeds self-confidence and his team accepts the transfusion
Brady wasn't the QB for both NY loses? That's news to me...

I don’t think Wentz is overhyped. I think it shows that he has a great team around him with great coaches.

When Romo went down, we went 2-11 and couldn’t move the football. The eagles somehow run at peak efficiency

When Dak had a great rookie year and Wentz didn't, people said it was because Dak had a great team around him. When the Eagles have a team good enough to make the Super Bowl with Nick Foles, people talk about how great Wentz is.

No, this is fantastic, I hope the Eagles mop the floor with NE. All it will do is further tarnish Jerry and his false legacy.

I don't see it.
The Eagles showed that good coaching can help overcome all sorts of major injuries on their way to a Superbowl. Even if they lose the Superbowl, the needle will be pointing up for the 2018 season due to the players they get back. Meanwhile, Dallas showed yet again that there must be superior talent across the board to even make the playoffs where their average coaching can then be exposed by better staffs.

The Eagles fans have a lot to be happy about right now and in the off-season. Not much can be done to spin it otherwise.

Amazing coaching contrast:
Pederson.....after 2 years the egirls are going to the Super Bowl. Despite injuries.
Garrett.........after 8 years we're still trying to stay afloat in the toilet bowl.

Kitna played well when Romo went down and I'm pretty sure he was a backup.

Dak came off the bench in relief of Romo when he was out for the season and he played pretty well too. And I'm fairly certain he was a backup.

Romo Went down During the season ? Dak was the starter at the start of the season. He atleast benefited from time with firsts before getting thrown in. You could say the same thing for Wentz last year has he was 3rd string behind Bradford and Daniels until 8 days before season :D

Because Romo carried his team. With the Eagles, when Wentz went down they kept marching because the team carried him.
Foles is a good back-up, but he scored 10 points against the Raiders and 15 against the Falcons. Narrow victories.

Wentz would have scored in the 20s or 30s and beat those teams by double digits. The two QBs are not the same.

If Foles does play well, though, they may be able to trade him for a high draft pick. Be more concerned about that than blowing up Wentz's rep.

Dak was the 4th string QB. Dak had sometime with the 1st team but he was not getting a lot of 1st team reps in practice. Romo went down 3rd preseason game and was still considered the starter for half the season. IIRC it was week 8 or 9 when Garrett announced the team was moving forward with Dak as the starter.

What hurt Dak's reputation were the mid-season meltdowns after the Zeke suspension. It wasn't just that the team was worse-- he personally didn't play well. So that's on him.

Do YOU think Wentz is garbage....??

I guarantee you that EVEN if Foles wins the Super Bowl (I sure hope not), Wentz will be the starter next season. I wonder why...??
