I agree it was in very poor taste in my opinion. That and the idea that the other social media outlets are where their focus is simply screams dollar signs. Another thing that I was thinking right when the crash happened was that they used to post news articles on the forum that linked to the website, which in turn offered more articles, videos, stats, schedules, roster and depth chart etc....So without the forum that connection isn't convenient. I don't frequent the website half as much as I used to. It actually took fans away from that outlet and probably pissed a bunch off to the degree they may not care enough to find this forum. It's really sad.

Ya know, I would have paid a monthly membership fee on the old site to maintain it and make it work right. Not only were we not important to them, we were treated as if we were a nuisance.

Agreed. Paying would have weeded out the useless trolls. Sounds redundant, but there were actually some useful trolls that made the forum fun. Of course we had a big group of silly SOBs I'd have a beer with any day.
But you're right their articles were lame. Which is why they got derailed in the first place. we weren't having that. Thanks Rob Phillips!
