I actually like that Sarek. Chick with Stick comes in hard with the beat and that kinda charges the thing up a little bit. Not as good as John and George an Paul and Ringo on the lyrics but pretty good I think.

A lot of good covers, that I like. Too many to list really but my favorite is probably a tune from Dream Academy called "Life In A Northern Town". Sugerland, Little Bigtown and Jake Owens covered it a few years ago. They did it as a close to their show while on tour. I don't know that they ever recorded it but it was pretty cool. I like the live version much better, there used to be a clip of them in concert but can't find it. This is a version of it from the CMA Awards.

Dave Loggins "Please Come To Boston", covered by Kenny Chesney, live in concert.

So many, already listed,

Metallica Covers are almost always great.
Johnny Cash's covers are always great and Hurt might be the best of the bunch. Also liked 13 as Danzig wrote it for him.

Van Halen has a bunch of songs that were covers that not as many people knew about. It was one of the things that helped break up Van Halen as
David liked the covers along with Doc or Templeman but Eddie wanted to move away from since they were an established band that no longer needed to do covers.

Not that long ago Some band did a cover of Dio Holy Diver - Music was ok but whoever the singer was is no Dio by any stretch.

Five Finger Death punch did covers of House of the Rising son and Bad Company....sorry guys...the singers voice ruined it for me.

The one that surprised me was Avenged Sevenfolds version of Pink Floyds Wish you were here. I actually liked it. On a side note...When Guns n Roses did their song civil war...they have a guitar riff that reminds me of wish you were here.

I have been a Sam Cooke fan, since I can remember. One of my all time favorites for me. This cover of Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come" is pretty awesome. I don't know who this kid is but he can get it done.

That is really good.

I wouldn't go that far,bro!
I've never heard of them B-4 till today ( which considering that fact, carries as much weight in water as your proclaimation)

How long's that Canadian band that cut 2 albums
' METRIC' hit the scene & melted off into vapor? At least they got radio air time & I think they were the last Feudian inspired band I'd took an ' interest' in.
Volbeat does get quite a bit of radio play. I've heard a couple of their songs being played at NFL games. YouTube them...
