and the only legitimate tune I'm aware of that pretty much carries a continuous fairly dominant COWBELL beat thru it's entirety is that "Now yer' messing with" song from Nazareth,,,,

Hair of the Dog. It's the only song I think of when I hear cowbell too! Great album too.

The Will Ferrell-Chad Smith thing sort of freaks me out. It's even funnier that it pisses Chad Smith off, most of the time.

And 'Nightrain' (GNR) is the song I always think about when I hear the word 'cowbell.' Good stuff.

When I think great cowbell song, I think of Honky Tonk Woman by The Stones. Hair of The Dog would be a close second. Dang it, now I want more cowbell!

Little off road, bucket drumming.

This kid is average at best when using a real drum set, but on these buckets he lets it rip. I think he's working on real drumming now, will see what happens.

I loves me some Nicko Mcbrain, but the drummer who did "Run to the Hills" was Clive Burr. Number of the Beast was his last album with Maiden. Here's mine:
