I want Derwin JAmes.

I also want a safety so we can move Byron Jones back to corner. I think Jones can still be a good corner for us.

Personally I think Derwin will blow up the combine and be a top ten pick. Tampa, san fran,Oakland, jets are four possible landing spots. Miami use him as well. Their linebackers and secondary like Oakland is suspect.

I see people labeling Minkah as a S but I honestly think he's going to try to stay at CB.

Pretty weak S class after James IMO.

One of my draft crushes this year is Kyzir White. Saw him in Junior College and thought he was special. He played Safety, Corner, and Nickel Linebacker for West Virginia. His brothers are Kevin (Bears WR, 7th overall pick in 2015) and Ka'Raun (West Virginia WR). During his recruitment I spoke to someone at West Virginia who said he was a bigger, better version of Karl Joseph. I also spoke to someone from USC who was recruiting him and he felt he was a better athlete than his brother Kevin.

I've seen draft buzz all over the place for Kyzir, ranging from late 1st round to Day 3.

I will be watching the Senior Bowl practices and the Combine to see how Kyzir performs.

I will tell you one S I can't stand... Byron Jones.
He needs replaced at FS badly. I like James but doubt he will be there for us. The rest of the class might be a stretch at 19.

Heath and Frazier are not starters get it out of your minds. We've had poor safeties for so long yall just accept anyone. How does Woods not have the range for FS? Hes fast, knows how to play the ball in air and willing hitter. He wont be big enough to be consistent SS.

Woods needs to gain some weight to be a full time safety imo

I still like Byron BUT as a slot CB that can match-up with larger TE's to smaller, shiftier inside WR's.

I def do not disagree with that.
I think upgrading FS will impact the D more immediately than any other position.
Like to see BJ doing what you suggest although he may get squeezed out when his contract is up because of the young uns. I doubt he is resigned after his rookie contract.
Then he will probably go to NE and pick off 10 passes a season.
