Not really sure what the issue with hiring Moore is. It's always been known that his future was in coaching. Even broadcasters who had interviewed him before the preseason games ranted incessantly about his knowledge and understanding of the game. If you didn't come to the conclusion there was a good chance of the team hiring him as a coach in the future 3 years ago, then you haven't been paying attention!

Thank you.
Now I don’t have to type all of that out

Hopefully Moore is better at teaching others how to play the position than he was at actually playing it?

How many great QBs turn into great coordinators?

Usually it’s the backups that see the game from the sideline with the headset that turn out.

I still hope he don’t get the job but who knows...maybe he will be good at it

I hope he doesn't try to copy Garrett's style, or lack of. The last thing they need is another 'process' to work on for 15 years.

I know this causes angst, but I am over it now.

If Mark Sanchez would retire, he would be a better option.

Yes, Butt Fumble Guy. He is just as qualified, if not more, than Moore.

But since he has not yet done so officially, here we are.

Moore is here because of his relationship to Linehan. Period.

KM has a good understanding of Linehan’s O-schemes/play-calling.

Therefore, hiring KM as QBC means Linehan’s likely gonna be here for at least another 2-3 seasons.

Let that sink in...

Moore might turn out to be a really good QB coach but this is pretty much status quo for now. He was essentially the assistant QB coach last year. Nothing's gonna change much. Same guy talking into the ear of the same QB who can't play.

Stop being negative.

This could really work out.

It appears this man really has a command of the system and can make a difference.

The actual quote leaves the option open that he will be something other than QB coach. I don't care if he is on the staff but I do want a qualified QB coach to help with Dak. The idea is to improve on Wilson.

So, Dak's back-up who has achieved even less than he has in the NFL will be his coach? Glad everyone will be comfortable, I guess.

Wow. Great thinking.

Backup QBs are prime candidates to be coaches. They are almost always guys who made rosters because of smarts despite noodle arms.

You'd be hard pressed to find an accomplished QB coaching. Frank Reich is the most accomplished I can think of - his main trait was being an ideal QB size.
