How many times did you include the word cheat? Good lord.

They are the best dynasty ever. Brady and Bill will both go down as probably the best at their positions. Get over it.
They may well be the best dynasty ever and Belicheat and Brady may go down as the best QB and coach ever, but they did cheat on more than one occasion, and people who care about the integrity of the league, and integrity in general, should care about that! You don’t care about the integrity of the game?

I have no problems with the Pats and everyone cheats. The Patriots are just better at it. You can't complain about a team that know the rules better than their opppnents and use those rules to their advantage. Does that mean they cheat, no it means they are just smarter. Plus you got to love a guy like Brady who was picked in the 6th rd and 198 players were picked before him and what he has done.
No! Everyone in the NFL does not cheat. Everyone in the NFL stretches the rules. The Patriots out and out cheat. There is a big difference. I agree though, they are smarter than everyone else. That bothers me. They are smarter than everyone else, have the best coach and the Goat and they cheated. That should bother fans of other teams.

We're not talking about playing by the rules here, we're talking about breaking them consistently. A huge difference.

I understand that but there are teams (most) that bend the rules in their favor. Tampering with coaches and FA is top of the list most teams do. Oakland should not complain because Todd Christian fumble the ball and advanced intentially into the endzone where one of his players recovered it for a TD. Oakland also used stickem to help them catch the ball. Can't do that anymore. The Saints had bounty gate, the Falcons pumped noise into the stadium, the Seahawks were accused of slicking up the balls, and the Commanders and the Cowboys were accused of manipulating the salary cap in 2010 (other owners thought they were cheating the system since there was not salary cap that year but to me they were just smarter than the other 30 teams and took a big risk for front loading their contracts that year. I still don't get how they were penalized in FA for being smarter than the other teams). I do say that the Pats does cheat sometimes but I think all teams do it at some point.

Most of these are a joke LOL. "Snowplowgate" and "IRGate" from the 1980s? LAFFO

"Formationgate" and "Tuckgate" aren't even real things, they're just correct applications of the existing rules at the time.

It did not happen because why? because NE denied it. And you believed them. Little information. They deny everything.

First of all, they didn't deny everything. What the Patriots did deny was the things they did not do. Like "deflategate" or in this particular instance - taping the Rams walk thru. Spygate, taping of the teams signals, they most certainly admitted to, and apologized for. Both the owner and the coach. But hey, lets not let facts stand in the way of a good story...

As for the walk thru tape, here ya go:

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...ald-writer-expresses-regret-over-false-report

and if you dont believe those articles, you can call Jon Tomase, the guy who wrote the article alleging the Pats taped the walk thru, and ask him, at WEEI - 617 779-7937 - check the website for his schedule

I don’t like Philly, but I can’t stand the Cheatriots. Also, if NE wins this Super Bowl they pass us in Super Bowl wins, Philly hasn’t won jack.
Who cares. The only fans who care about how many SB rings the Pats have are the Steelers.

Trust me, MOST COWBOYS fans including myself, want that Egals trophy case to remain EMPTY!:igglestrophy:

This is easy for me. I have no problem with the Patriots. I'm tired of hearing about how great they are just like everyone else outside of New England but they deserve and have earned the hype. Maybe the fanbase can be more annoying than most since 2002 but they seem to quiet down around Giants fans.

Philly is one of our division rivals. Cowboys and Giants fans can always fall back on the empty trophy case. I want that to continue for as long as I live. Most of that fanbase doesn't deserve a championship team. Not all but most. These guys and girls have been pumping their chests for decades without winning a damn thing. Imagine the nonsense if/when they actually do win.
Hey bud, you made it to the better site. Great seeing ya.
By the way, good post!:hammer:

We will get a double dose of history. Brady will get 6 of 8 and the Eagles will remain without a SB victory. If the Pats do win and Brady does get number 6 how long will it take for some QB to break that record. The 8 SB appearances might never be broken for a starting QB but maybe some QB in the future could go 6 for 6 and tie Brady's wins total. I never thought i would see a QB get more than 4 SB wins as the starter.

I think after Brady and Belichick the Pats will stop winning SB's for quite awhile. The Cowboy's will have plenty of time to pass up the Pats in SB victories.

Of course they deflated footballs. They had been deflating footballs for years and just got caught vs the Ravens. Wonder why they fumbled less than any other team over the last 5 years? Because they are the Patriots and they are coached well, but also because they are holding Tommy’s special deflated footballs. Why would Belicheat and the Goat, both being the best of all time, feel they needed to steal a teams signals? Doesn’t it irk you, possibly the greatest coach and greatest QB of all time have consciously cheated to help them win. Someone should ask Belicheat, why?

Of course they did not deflate footballs. That whole wells report was a sham - written to match a pre-determined conclusion. Of course someone who thinks that they taped the walk thru for Super Bowl XXXVI would think they did - because espn said so... :espn: is here for a reason... As for the fumbling stats, you even know how many fumbles the Pats have had? Or are you just regurgitating something you heard somewhere else? You need to actually look at the numbers, you know, do some research instead of just listening to message board conspiracy theories...

As to why tape the signals, gee ... let me think about that for half a second... because maybe everybody always tries to steal the other teams signals for the same reason - trying to figure out what the other team is doing? Clipping signals has been part of the game since teams began signaling... How they went about it was against the rules - as set forth in the memo in 2007 ... you know 7 years after BB took over the reins in New England... As for Belichick, he did explain why - but obviously you didn't bother to, you know, actually understand what you are talking about... again... But hey, why let the truth stand in the way of a good, juicy story...

They took their lumps for spygate... they took their lumps for deflategate... they have taken their lumps for everything and kept on winning... got anything else?

This game could be a passing of the torch if the Eagles defense can knock Brady out of the game but if the cant the Eagles will have to wait until next year when Carson Wentz is there to start their dynasty SB wins.

You guys would rather an AFC team lose to perhaps our most hated rival, rather than the “Cheatriots” win and get their 6th? Seriously? This is some epic salt.

What a sissy stance to take. Get over it
The Eagles can rot in hell, along with their fans.

They cheated against the Rams.
First of all, that accusation was proven false.
Second of all, that accusation didn't even come out until years later. So, like the man said, why did you hate the Patriots so much in Super Bowl 39 (the first one against the Eagles)?

It is clear your memory is extremely fuzzy on this matter.

It is foolhardy not to acknowledge that every single team in the NFL (if not all of pro sports) cuts corners to get ahead. The only difference is New England is a marquee team that drives people insane so it gets blown out of proportion when they do it.
