I enjoy watching guys too old for college and not good enough for the NFL play ball.............. this sounds like a winning idea along with the NFL pre-season.

They should also start a league comprised solely of ex-cons and convicts eligible for work release. Have the champions from each league play each other for their version of the Super Bowl.

Why not a just a full on prison league? No rules..........70's style ball. Somebody gets CTE, nobody cares.

They don't have to worry about CTE. They know the league will be defunct before they ever can be sued for damages.

I agree. That he is not going the WWE route again is a good thing. Make it serious and change all the things the NFL does wrong and it has a chance.

The only good football anymore is highschool football. Perhaps college.

First off, the squeaky clean thing will scare off quite a few talented players. Especially if they go with a very hard line with no criminal record at all. That will be a very tall order..

I doubt the anthem thing is still an issue in 2020, but if it is, that is another detriment.

The product in the NFL is already diluted. There are not enough QBs to go around as it is.

The one thing that kept the USFL afloat was the fact they floated enough cash to make QBs go there.

If QBs like Jim Kelly, Doug Williams, Steve Young and Doug Flutie were not there, it would have tanked even sooner.

And that was in an era when the pass was not quite what it is now.

I would love for another league to succeed. I just don't think they have the right formula.

It seems like something people would watch tomorrow because of the current political climate, but not necessarily in 2020.

Nope. The SEC has ruined college football. They've made in minor league football.

Do you see the 26 year old looking guys on steroids with freak bodies who do just enough to stay eligible for the games and have felony charges disappear by local law enforcement down there? Every one of those schools have bag men who pays every recruit who even visits
