I would go with Emmitt. Outside of Staubach, nobody willed this team to win like Emmitt did and he was so clutch when it mattered. And he was always better as the game went along and it signified to the opponent that they were inferior to the Cowboys.

I think EE is a HoF type talent and is more athletically gifted and better coached than Emmitt was at the same stage (HS and college coaching...obviously Jimmy was far better than Garrett). But, I don't know how close EE is to Emmitt's heart and will to win along with getting better as the game goes along.

So me saying Romo would have gotten hurt makes me a Dak lover?? Seems more like you are in pain because Romo is in the booth protecting his broken body from taking a beating for a team that let him down.
no because you had to trot out your Romo hate. Stick it where the sun doesn't shine

You could count on Romo being hurt. Just like you can count on Sean Lee being hurt. Dak took hits this year that would have landed Romo in the ER. So please spare me the "dak sloberer" title and come back to reality where Romo's body gave up on him and let him down, most likely because we waited way to long to protect him and allowed him to run for his life for the better part of a decade of his career. Just because I say Romo would get hurt doesn't mean I don't appreciate what he did for this organization. Its just irritating that people say "oh if he came back" bla bla. The injury he sustained in the pre season took him out for the better part of 3 months and it was a nothing hit. Imagine Romo taking the hits Dak did this year, or even last year. He would have died. So just stop it already you sound like the lunatic here not me
your lack of knowledge is incredible. Why don't you look at what happened when Teddy Bridgewater was hurt. Just goes to show how stupid your post is

Randy Moss! Passing on him and "moving on" to a life of greg ellis instead ruined my life as a cowboy fan! Will never, ever get over that!

As for guys who actually played for us Ken Norton Jr. came back to haunt us, he was our ray lewis

I agree w whoever said Jimmy Johnson too, like a tragedy that ruins the rest of your life

Romo was the easiest! Couldnt wait to get rid of that wanna be interception machine!

Roy Williams in his first few years.

Man, shame on me for forgetting all about him. Coming out of college, he was a BEAST. Given a better staff & scheme, I feel like he could have played at all-pro levels for years.

I was ill when he left and had told myself to erase the staff's mistake from my brain. Guess I did a dang good job at it!

Roger Staubach's retirement speech was the only time I ever cried when someone walked away from the game.

OMG you need to stop. Romo wouldn't have lasted thru a full game coming back. He could barely make it thru a quarter of pre-season. You want the guy in a wheelchair? Romo wouldn't have led us anywhere because Dak would have been QB again very quickly when Romo went down, and the backlash of taking out a guy who was 11-1 when Romo came back would have ruined all team chemistry.
This is complete and utter nonsense. Yes lets pretend Romo had the body of a 80 yr old man, just to defend the idiotic decision by the head coach.

Problem was the NFL would have pretty much run him out of the game; he was the last of the old time lay the wood safeties and the NFL could not have that

Romo hate? Romo is one of my favourite cowboys. So let me get this straight. I say Romo would have gotten hurt I hate him? Right......You can go search my old posts about Romo and it was nothing short of praise for him, so stop making up stuff because I was being honest about his durability.

Makes me sick thinking about that. Roger ruined everything good about the game. Unfortunately, RW is exactly the player that this D needs. Someone that puts the fear of God into a receiver who dares to cross the middle of the field.

I don’t have any problem seeing any player go if they got a ring. So, that pretty much leaves Romo for me at this point in time. Talk about a wasted opportunity with him at the helm :(

Do you even know what his injuries were? I feel like I'm debating with a two-year old. No, they are not chronic.
His season ending pick sixes on first down were "chronic" he was pretty much a failure in every important game of his career
