I don't see anybody wanting to be the first through the door on Manziel.

IF he goes to Canada, plays well and shows he's matured, I think teams would line up for him if for nothing else the marketing aspect and that includes Jerry -- but right now he's still too toxic.

I read Johny has been diagnosed with bipolar and has a grip on it now. He deserves a shot somewhere if he still has the talent. Let him come here and try to win a spot. What the heck do have to lose. It costs us nothing.

Jerry has never turned his back on troubled players with talent.

If he has been diagnosed and he is on his meds, I would consider bringing him in for a look see. With proper treatment, many people go on to live very productive lives with BP disorder. However, I am not sure that any org. would go too far out on a limb for him unless he proves himself.

I don't know, i was never a big Johnny Football fan but there was no doubt he had skill and could play. If his bipolar diagosis is correct and meds have him under control then some team willing to take a chance on him might hit the jackpot. Say what you will but has anyone really heard of anything stupid he has done in the past year? For awhile he was in the news every single week. If he is truly bipolar and now has it under control i would root for him in any comeback he tries to make. he will be playing in that spring league and i bet alot of teams will be there to check him out, including us

The assumption that Johnny Football has NFL level talent is misplaced. He should play in Canada for a while just to see if he can: A. Still play football at all and B. If he’s even capable of keeping his life together.

I’m still not convinced his life is even in order enough to hold a job.

I agree. If he indeed has every together now... at the worst, he gets cut. at the best, we have a new backup.

Yeah, I seriously could care less. Only thing that bothers me is if Johnny Dingaling becomes our 2nd string QB, I would hate having to depend on him.

Then again, if Dak goes down, we don't have anyone who can play at an NFL level anyway, so what the hades, bring 'im in!!!

Oh, Jerry wanted him. Of that there is no doubt. Jerry tells the story himself. Does he still want him? Prolly, Jerry is a coveter, and he prolly still wants him.
