WOW. Being a teacher I see bullying a lot and it’s just not right. With that said, this is too extreme. I hope that the NFL takes bullying more serious so things like this don’t pop up again

Man, he is messed up. How does he think what he threatened is the right thing to do? Hopefully, he'll get the help he clearly needs.

In no way does this vindicate those asswipe team mates and coach in Miami. In fact imo this merely highlights the fact that their behaviour is a mitigating factor. They should be embarrassed that their actions were PART of this guys life.

Fyi. I am conservative. I hate how w3 coddle people but I am also compassionate and understand mental health needs addressing.

His excuse was bullying from the get go. But much of it was he had "issues".

Bullying is not ok. Threatening to take their lives for it is far worse though. Something isn’t right he needs prison time for this as well as mental help in prison

Bullying is a very underrated aspect to the average person. The toll it can take on a person after dealing with it on a daily basis can be to much mentally to handle. I think we should do away with any automatic weapons in the country, because I only see them as weapons of mass destruction. I'm not advocating that it's alright for these shootings, but in some cases these people feel hopeless and when there is no hope desperation follows.

What’s lost in all of the accusations of bullying is the fact that Incognito was trying to be Martin’s friend and ingratiate him into the team. A lot of those texts were riffing back and forth and giving eachother crap, but there were also texts where Incognito is like “hey but seriously, if you need anything, let me know”. Martin just couldn’t handle it and had mental issues.

Martin just needs to turn in his man card. These aren't kids, if it were my opinion would be different but since they're grown men had Martin stood up for himself, they likely would have had more respect for him and most likely that would have been all it took, but since he didn't this is where it's at years later......he's still crying over it and finds himself in jail.

With grown men......once it started had he just plowed into him it most likely be completely different....even if he lost the fight it would have atleast earned a little respect and most likely would have ened it then and there......running and crying about getting punked probably wasn't the right move for him.
