omg.... Say it aint so.....

@erod @khalidi @WillieBeamen

I absolutely have got to hear your opinions on this video!!!!

Is it #FAKENEWS?????

This video almost deserves it's own thread @Gameover... Just like thast bull corn they creamed all over for umpteen pages.
You can make a highlight video on anybody and make them look like Tom Brady. Please.

Ok, he made a handful of nice throws last season. Rodgers makes more than that in one game.

Dak routinely missed wide open receivers and failed to crack 200 lousy yards passing in games. He sees nothing. Hates the pocket. Lacks arm strength and accuracy. Has no confidence downfield.

He regressed horribly. We'll see soon, but I'm not optimistic he's anything more than a backup QB.

You are correct sir. David Carr looked like Tom Brady.

The rest of your commentary... lol. Typical.

We're the Cowboys, you think we do competition? He sells too many jerseys for them to bring in any real competition.

I like how everybody wants to give up on Dak after two seasons and a 22-10 record as a starter. Now some want that bum Siemien in here, somebody that's been around longer than Prescott and has done nothing but regress.

Recall through 8 games in 2017 Prescott was just as good as he was as a rookie? Then Zeke got suspended, Tyron Smith went down, and the coaching staff failed Dak in epic fashion. That's really it; in my opinion.

I'll take rush to challenge for the starter. If Dak goes down he will never be starting QB again.

If we need to bring in Trevor Siemian to push Dak then we are in bigger trouble than anyone of us like to admit.

Dak hasn’t been around long enough to require a push.
He is aware of the pressure to succeed. This whole notion of a 3 rd year QB somehow improving because he is being pushed is just disguised Dak hate from people that either don’t get it or do get it and just want to make a statement that Dak sucks.

I see zero evidence that a Daks struggles were from lack of being pushed which means lack of caring or effort.
If they want to help Dak then they would do what the eagles did with Foles and what the rams did with Goff...ask him to do what he does well.

Here you go Dak sucks.....sucks...sucks... he is a terrible QB. Not hating just a fact.

This entire thread is somewhat silly. I understand many of you think Dak Prescott is a terrible QB. I even have questions about him myself.

At the same time, I think I am able to see clearly enough to understand that the cards were somewhat stacked against him this last season.

Could he have handled his business a little better? Obviously so, but I'm not sure that I am ready to ship him off to the NFL graveyard just yet.

We could bring in Brady and fans would still want Dak to start because he's their favorite player now. "well Brady is old and Dak is young, we need to develop a new young guy" "Brady can't avoid the rush like Dak" blah blah blah...

Stafford went to a team looking for a saviour as a rookie... Prescott went to a team with (at the time) the best OLine , a generational RB, and solid receiving core...

Why is it so hard to understand?!

Probably any QB could put up 20 TDs and 4 INT if your only job was to "not mess up"...

I'm sick and tired of hearing about "the great rookie season" because if you really look at it, Dak had it so easy..

Compare him to other rookie QBs and name me one that has came into the league having the best OLine, the best RB and a solid WR corps... I'll wait.

If I had to pick a QB for a win or go home game , I would pick Stafford over Prescott every time!

QBR is one of the most worthless stats.

Is Alex Smith better than Favre , Elway and Aikman? Pfft!

OK lets just compare 2016. Stafford in his eighth season threw 24 TD's against 10 picks and an average per pass of 7.2 yards. Now a rookie threw 1 less TD's and had 23 against only 4 picks for an average of 8 yards per pass. Stafford had 9 wins and Prescott had 13 even though I always say the wins and losses belong to the entire team. Now another quick stat to throw in here. Stafford had 6 of his games in a division with a winning percentage of .469 and Prescott played his 6 divisional games against a divisional average of .617. So Prescott had tougher games yet he threw more than THREE times less picks and with a higher yards per pass average. Also Prescott as a rookie never lost track of where he was and stepped out of the back of the end zone for a safety when he was throwing a pass like Stafford did in his 5th season. If you want to take Stafford over Prescott that's fine but I take a much younger Prescott who as a rookie had a better year than Stafford ever had and has a much much higher potential.

He didn’t replace Romo so he wouldn’t encounter the same amount of jealousy hate.

Here's what's funny about that. Many Romo fans, me being a huge Romo fan, when the Cowboys were running off 11 straight wins many of the Romo fans were OK with sticking with the hot hand. Most of the talk about Romo should have played came AFTER the Cowboys loss to the peckers in the playoffs. Until then even Romo fans understood and accepted going with the hot hand. As great as Romo was he never put together a 11 straight wins stretch. There is part of me that wished Romo played that game against the peckers but there is a part of me that also wonders just how much rust he would have had and what would have happened with his back if he took another really hard shot and then have to go back to Prescott and his mindset after taking the Cowboys on a 11 straight wins earlier and then getting benched for Romo. It just wasn't as black and white as some would have us think it was.

Dak should challenge David Carr to that. Appears they showed only Dak’s good throws and all of Garrett’s bad throws. The video was obviously edited. The entire unedited video surfaces only to find out that Garrett actually won the challenge. Lol
lmao...
