I haven't given up on Dak Prescott. But if he isn't significantly better this year than last, it's time to relegate him to a back up and go a find a real QB. It's that simple.

That’s fair. I can’t argue with that. I just also think it’s unfair when peopl go the other extreme and call him a bum. Say he has a noodle arm, etc. when the evidence points to the fact that he does have a lot of potential also.

I won't go that far. I don't think he's a bum, talentless, or any other of the adjectives the majority of naysayers would like to use around here. I like Dak Prescott. I think he's a really smart kid and a good human being. Tim Tebow is, also. I don't want him anywhere near the QB room of my team.

Dak's a Cowboy. Like ALL Cowboys, I'm pulling for the kid. But I'm not going to fawn over his rookie season, ignore the faults in his game and say "we're set". If he shows improvement next season and the arrow is trending up (rather than down, as it stands) then count me in. But, again, in order for that to happen he HAS to be better. Much, much better.

Cherry. Picked. Stats. Its sunk in.

I can pull another. Seven. Games. that make Prescott look great. First, Dallas is a run-first team with the best RB in the NFL.

Second, you are picking a stretch of games with abnormalities like the Atlanta game with a cardboard cutout playing LT and the Chargers game where he went 20-27 with every big play called back on penalities - but no TDs. A third game in that stretch was the blowout with Philly.

In the Washington game Zeke had 150 yards rushing with Dak going 14- 22 in a game they won by 14.... but Dak had zero passing TDs. If you want to bench your QB after games like that, you are the only one.
