He's such a goober, but a likeable goober at that.

I have a feeling he's going to be really good down the road.

Hopefully it is a sort road to that, and he is good pretty quick. But the road is long after that for a very good long career.

The kid is a baller. Not only as an individual player but as a teammate. There were games I watched where you could see the defense just feeding off his energy. I am super excited to have drafted him. I think most people have an issue because they consciously still tie talent to big schools. If he got drafted out of Alabama or Florida people would be jumping for joy. Talent can be found all around the country and Boise State has had a really good program the last decade and a half.

I obviously can not and will not promise we have a future hall of famer, because everybody translates to the NFL differently, but I feel really comfortable about the pick at this point in time.

I saw a mock having the Steelers taking LVE. I would’ve died had that happened. That city would have made him a god.

And that big kid flying around making plays in Pittsburgh would’ve been my worst nightmare!

Big boy is all ours!

The Patriots are not a very good team when it comes to drafting players

And these same fans you mention disregard or forgot that DeMarcus Ware came out of Troy.
I feel very comfortable with this pick also.

Both Vander Esch and Evans are very young and have many years ahead of them. Personally, I prefer to have the one with future greatness ahead of him than one with a very good first year to his advantage. In pure fact, nothing is guaranteed, so let's see what both of them produce first before coming to any preconceived conclusions. They're both highly talented, although I really couldn't be happier with the one we picked.

If we didn’t take him at 19, LVE wasn’t falling much further. Also shows the Cowboys weren’t the only team that preferred him to Evans.

I'm sure the Steelers would have taken him. I dount he makes it out the first round.
