When asked by Skip, what letter grade he would rate himself. Dak said, "I give myself a "C" It was average as can be." It has to be better then that. (Me too) Somebody has to let him know he was a MVP for 8 games.

When asked by Shannon, What does a Dak friendly offense mean to you? Dak said, "I am not sure what that means" (Me too) That BS term has no substance

Well there you have it. The fan base is delusional yet Dak is grounded in reality. The Dak lovers hang their hats on "Dak Friendly" and Dak doesn't even know what that means.

I'll tell you right now I wholeheartedly agree with him. Thank goodness he is grounded. There's still hope for him to improve since he recognizes the truth.

Dak knows what a dak friendly offense is. Why would he tell you, every fanbase, and all the other 31 teams what their plans are?

Doesnt make sense.

If you take daks word then maybe you are delusional!:huh:

Nope 5 games in a row of sub par production is not a joke it is a problem

so last year was an F
1. Atlanta game, was that on Dak?
2. 1st and goal on the 3 against Seattle, with a healthy Zeke and o-line. 3 straight pass plays, that's on Dak?
3. 22-10 career, 9-7 last year and could have easily been 10-6, that's all on Dak?
Give me a break.

C seems fair. He was inconsistent not terrible.
2 semesters last year. Early semester b+, 2 semester ....a D,

Sure oline problems contributed along with scheme, but when teams saw he virtually refused to throw the 15-20 ball between the hashes, defenders flooded the Beasley zone also limiting Zeke on the go

He needs to prove he will throw that ball into a nfl window

I really hope we start using the FB position again When properly done a fullback can really help the offense bring back Moose

Please don't bring back Moose. I'm sick and tired of our offense trying to resemble the offense of the 90s. Garrett needs to just throw that playbook away and start with scratch.

A grade for what? 2017 or his first two years?

love the fact that he is humble and knows he has a lot to learn. Expects the best of himself. This is one of the big reasons I love the kid.

I think it shows a great deal of maturity but anyhow.

Romo would have got a “”D” for his 2008 and 2012 seasons but would he or the delusional Romo lovers ever admit any of his failures?

The real question here is can Dak be better than a C? He was a 4th round pick so his C average rating is typical of where he was selected. I'm just so curious how the fanbase can just believe that Dak is a franchise QB after 1 good season and 1 bad season...the reality of the situation is we don't know just yet.

Rookie season was an A last season was an F C is about right over 2 years. Another F and he needs to be outa here

first 24 games were an A. last 8 were an F.

But Dak is grading himself on simply being a QB as probably someone like you does. I grade the kid based on what he is. I factor in that he is only a 2nd year QB.

In that context the kid has been an A overall. But if your not factoring in his youth, I think a solid B would be a good grade.

A battering ram in front of Zeke and an extra blitz protector for Dak is a good thing. If the talent is there you can make anything work.

LOL ....not sure if you're dreaming or reaching. Maybe both but one thing sure, this line of thinking is waaay off from Jerry and Stephen mindset. Hell, just listening to their recent interviews regarding Dak gives the impression they extend him TODAY if they could. BTW, not where you "F" is coming from.....his C is about right IMO.

No I do not if all failures were on Romo all failures are on Dak there are no 2 sides to the story
There has been and is a definite undeniable double standard in play among some fans but Prescott did make a fair self-assessment of his performance last season in my opinion. Greater self-experience, roster tweaks and projected player health should help him improve this season—possibly returning to or exceeding his in-season 2016 form.

He got an A his rookie season from me and last year a C so that's about right. I would have given him a B up till the Atlanta game. The rest of the way I'd give him a D with a few games being an F.

But there are several sides if you understand the game. I think you’re being bullish just for the sake of argument.

Or maybe you don’t understand the game.

Well then that can also apply to Wentz. 1 bad season (rookie year), 1 good season (last year).

Even though Daks tool bag has new pieces a few are going to change the character of our offense.
[1] Jamize Olawale I tend to forget about him but he brings some interesting skills to FB.
[2] Tavon Austin I dont think we'll see a lot of loaded box against us when his on the field.
Dak Friendly is tools to use

Teams are not afraid of Austin at this point in his career. Just because he runs fast doesn’t mean teams will game plan him.

He’s going to have to prove he’s more of a player than he showed in LA for teams to start worrying about him on a consistent basis.
