Like you assume someone is a hater? LOL

Its a pretty easy assumption to make. If you like Garrett, then you applaud mediocrity.
No I don’t assume anyone’s a hater. I base it on their posting history. When you post something on the internet, it’s there for all to see.

Supporting Garrett in our dysfunctional situation is not necessarily aligned with believing he’s the best HC we could have. Only within the parameters Jerry allows.

I’m not sure why you don’t target Jerry who is responsible for the HC if you truly believe Garrett is the obviously horrid idiot you’re attempting to portray?

Garrett doesnt have stats. LOL Who is delusional? What stats are you throwing out there that support the claim that Garrett is great. This will be good for a laugh.

Never said Garrett was great. Not once. All I’m saying is...his overall record is 10-12 games over .500, which is above average, and working for Jerry to boot. Am I happy about the last 23 years? Hell no! But I don’t blame Garrett for everything—just don’t like his in game adjustments, and NO, the clapping has ZERO impact!

While I don’t think Dak is as good as Romo, I think this year’s team might turn out to be the best overall team we’ve had for awhile. If we don’t have serious injury problems, I expect some playoffs. If not, I’ll probably pitch in chanting for change.

The sad part about the small Garrett support group is they dont even think Garrett is a great coach. They just defend him because they think he is average, or they think he is the best we can expect with Jones. Beaten down, low standard drivel.
since we are generalizing who is the Garrett support group?
not everything is black and white and its ok to like some things about a person and not like other things
there is so much of that on this board
just trying to be reasonable doesnt make me a support group or apologist
**** the dude won coach of the year in 2016 now these same people are listing him on the hot seat
maybe theres more to this thing idk

Exactly!! Well said! We live in a gray world. Black and white is virtually nonexistent.

LOL....so a slight winning percentage in the regular season with scant playoff success is good for you? Wade and Gailey did better in the regular season. Were you impressed? Stop sticking up for a guy that is barely above 500 and makes blunder after blunder.

With Jerry? how about the fact that he has had Romo and Dak the entire time? considering he has had a franchise QB his entire career as head coach shows how bad he really is.

now you get it. some have solutions and others just love the mediocrity.

Personally i dont know if i like this staff yet, but i am hoping the additions are good. Sorry when i think of good Olines, i never thought Cincy. I could be wrong. I dont know how Bloom will be either, but im ok with losing the previous guy. Richard i have big hopes for as well.

Im hoping Linehan and Garrett get on board with the winning but im not going to turn this into a "bash Garrett" thread.
No one loves mediocrity! What can we do, aside from whining and crying?

Most people just see the way the guy coaches and his blunders. Pretty simple stuff. Garrett is horrid.

No one wants mediocrity. They just want you to accept mediocrity and act like everything is peaches and cream, except for the hate they want to spew because they believe they have the perfect balance between being negative and positive. The funny thing is the people who hate haters the most, rarely talk positive about the team. Their idea of being positive about the team is to call someone else a hater.

Why should I stop whining?

What's more annoying you sticking up for a coach that should be fired long ago, or me whining about a coach that should have been fired long ago?

Not only do we have to live through the horror of the Garrett era with no hope, but we have to listen to apologists like you support mediocrity?

Talk about annoying.

IN a way, fans like you are a part of the problem. A coach like Garrett or a GM like Jones should be run out of town without mercy. Its fans like you that are willing to accept mediocrity and NOT complain enough that keeps Jones in his comfort zone.

If you want fans to stop whining, then help us run garrett out of town. IF we get a real coach in here, we will start having more success and then the whining will stop. There wasnt all this whining on chat rooms in the 90s.

Obviously you haven’t come to grips with our situation with Jerry. LoL

When a coach claps they are not congratulating a player's performance. Many coach's clap translate to "C'mon ,let's see more hustle, let's get things going!"

Coaches hate interviews, they hate revealing information, they hate explaining fundamental concepts, they hate participating in individual accolades.Quite often they will feed an interviewer's premise rather than dispute their conclusions.

Since Jason Garrett became Head Coach, the Dallas Cowboys are tied for 9th place in winning percentage. After 8 seasons, he has exactly the same playoff record as Tom Landry after 8 seasons.

Jason Garrett has built a team capable of competing for a championship for several years. I believe that Jason Garrett will ultimately end his career with a stature similar to Tom Landry. I also believe that if there had been an internet in the 60's, Tom Landry would never had made it to his 9th season.

I think extremes clash. If someone says something that appears too critical, people freak out, and label him/her a hater. If someone calls out one of the “clapping carrot” crowd, they’re told that they love mediocrity. The truth, as always, lies somewhere in the middle.
