I always wonder how much the culture of machismo in the NFL plays into these guys getting into trouble with violent crime. You tend to not see a lot of this stuff happening in MLB, the NBA, or even the NHL. That isn't to say that it doesn't happen, of course, but I would be willing to bet that the statistics would show the rate of accusations and arrests to be far lower than those in the NFL.

There are a couple of very talented guys with huge red flags
But if they last past the 4th I might take a shot
Not a huge need but lots of talent and lots of baggage

Better question is that the Cowboys likely knew about it when it occurred and he is still on the team.

I know, I know. Let's get all the facts. But sometimes, a message needs to be sent and it is acceptable to use a bottom of the roster player to do so.
