Romo did a lot at the LOS when the coaches weren't in his ear. It seems as though the coaches call the plays but Romo create a bunch of protection, hot routes etc.

Also the difference was....playing on the road against the #7 defense that looks like it got better vs playing at home against a garbage team.

But who is paying attention to particulars.

Carolina makes a lot of QBs look bad from time to time. Unfortunately, we played them in week 1 where Zeke haven't played meaningful football since week 16 of last year and Dak didn't play for almost 3 weeks.

If the Cowboys put up stinkers against the Giants and Seahawks, then I think the FO should start looking at another QB of the future.

Romo wasn't doing these things in his 3rd year. Romo just started playing in his 3rd year.

When Dak started making adjustments at the line yesterday, it got better.

He's been bad for over a year, The cowboys need to move on from him and this coaching staff at the end of the season.of course we probably wont

ok and? So we're supposed to just be ok with Dak playing like crap because he played against a good defense? Thats not an excuse.

Y'all looking for them charts to excuse Dak lol. Did Dak have a messed up knee? Let's tell the whole story here. Now if you can show that Rodgers doesn't go downfield like Dak at a similar clip we have something but this esp with the injury isn't helping your case IMO.

For all of you that incessantly say our wr are never getting separation, go look at that Stefon digs Td yesterday. That dB was all over him , zero separation, yet the q.v. still dropped it in there.

Just answering your assertion.

No one played well and it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. We can't go from Practice to facing a very good Panther defense on the road week 1 with a whole new set of players and expect it to be perfect. This is on the coaching staff, period.

I could post about half a dozen other similar qb charts from yesterday but no one wants to hear it. They just want to bash without understanding the whole picture.

Romo wasn't as dramatic in 2008 when it came to audibles. When he was under center, he didn't audible much, but when he was in shotgun, he would make a couple of adjustments with the protection and communicate with the WRs with hand gestures as well. He did have T.O. and Witten who were great option route runner and can read a defense as well so they would have to be on the same page on the obvious passing plays.

My response wasn't about Romo doing things in his 3rd year. It was about a poster saying this is the same scheme that Romo did well in 2014.

The defense played a good game. Dak is just limited, he was limited last season, was it the preseason then as well? Fans should face the reality instead of throwing blame. And yeah The coaching sucks.
