We need a controlled rush vs Wilson. Don’t let him buy 5-8 seconds. We might not want to do many twist or stunts vs him. D Lineman need their eyes on him at all times. Send 5-6 guys at times, but blitz under control. Don’t let him side step you. I trust our CB’s in man as long as Wilson doesn’t get out of the pocket. It cannot be stated enough. Rush under control.

I am far more concerned on whether the offense can manage to move the ball and put up some points.

Jaylon should be the remedy for him. Has the speed necessary to keep him in check. Stuff the running lanes with the other DL and he will only have the outside to run. Then JS will meet him. Obviously, this is all in a perfect world, but I don't think they will go in there without a plan to contain the only viable offense the Seahags can rely on.

We handled him pretty well last year. What concerns me is a close score late in the game with the ball in his hands. Defenses get gassed, legs rubbery and he's even more elusive. I think it will be a low scoring close game, hopefully under control on his last drive. Go Cowboys

Cowboy fans will begin to actually realize what the term dominant defense really means, those fortunate enough to have known the dominate D eras have seen this before.
It is very under estimated, always under estimated just how much leverage a stong, dominating defensive presence can define a team.
Rare to have both offense and defense dominate, takes a breakout franchise player ... QB for example.
Cap won't let you do both.
Cowboys have positioned themselves to actually achieve this level, that is a good roll on the table.
Build dominance on D, and have the opportunity on the offense to elevate their game.
That is the equation that wins, and I personally like the build at this point.

The Cowboys are much closer to having a consistently strong defense than they are on the offensive side. ‘Dominant’ is a word that can be thrown around too much. The league is set up for offenses to succeed. It’s far too soon to call the Cowboys a dominant D. Doing what they did against the NYG was impressive, but not exactly anything different than what other teams have done to them over the last couple seasons. The Giants have scored under 20 points in 20 of their last 34 games. They have only scored more than 24 points 4 times in that same span.

Offenses have the advantage in today’s NFL. Even strong defenses can get lit up. See Minnesota in the playoffs last year...or Philly last week. The Giants are just a very bad team right now...hard to take too much from that.

He’s not the worry...Dallas is. It’s them who shoots themselves in the foot out of games 9 out of 10 times, and it’s been that way forever with this franchise now. Long as they take care of the ball, play decent defense, call a good game, and score when the opportunities are there...they’ll win.

If we come out with the same energy as last week, no way we lose this game. The Legion of Boom is gone. Seattle is back to being the Region of Gloom.

Exactly! Last season Russell wilson managed only 93 yards passing in a game that eliminated the Cowboys from having a shot at making the playoffs! Dak basically lost a game where Wilson had 2 yards passing at halftime! The Cowboys rushed for 128 yards! Cowboys didnt score a TD that game.

In this game first to score 20 points wins. Home opener for Seattle trying to avoid an 0-3 start, they will start fast.
