You're missing the point.

It doesn't matter if he sucks at it or not.

He has to take it back because it's what a HC should do in these circumstances, unless they've got a 10 year deal like Gruden.

They aren't going to fire Garrett midseason.

So you're saying Jerry will be taking over play calling duties. Because its what the HC should do. Oh boy...........

Why cant we groom our own Sean Mcvay or Doug Pederson or grab someone from Andy Reid's coaching tree.

Well that involved a couple things

Jerry step down and be a owner only
Hire a football gm
Hire a x’s and o’s coach

If he does he will be exposed for that quack that he really is.

Frankly, this team was out coached. Our offense has been sucking for so long and its not even funny. His the coach and this is his mastery piece.

Why would JG take over play calling?

He was never particularly good at it which is why Jones finally forced him to give it up.

If Dallas is going to stick with Dak they need to start running a lot of RPO and no huddle to give him a chance at what he does well. If they don't I expect a new coaching staff and QB this offseason. I don't have the full tape breakdown to know exactly who's fault this mess is, but that was getting wrecked by an average to bad team.

If Garret isnt fired he might as well. Linnehan offers absolutely nothing. This team needs to do what Minny did last year and in a hurry...

The offense actually IMPROVED when playcalling was given to Linehan. Garrett doesn't want to take over playcalling because it would shift the blame to him. Garrett knows he can stretch at least another year if he can throw Dak and Linehan under the bus.

if the season continues on the route it is going they need to clean house and bring in new hc and let him hire his staff and he will move a lot of the players also

Listening to the post game, even Bradshaw was questioning Linehan. Said this was just an unimaginative offense.

Look at our QB, TEs, and WRs, then compare them to good offenses in the NFL. They don't measure up.

Call any plays you like. You might get lucky and score 20 points on a good night.

This is not a "Fire Jason Garrett" thread.

I honestly think for this offense to have any chance whatsoever, Garrett has to relieve Linehan of playcalling duties. The offense clearly needs a spark, and it's just not happening with Linehan.

Garrett needs to be coaching this season like his job's on the line, and he can't let Linehan write the end of his story in Dallas.

It may end up meaning nothing, but it's what a coach on the hot seat would do given what we've seen this year from this comatose offense.

When your QB has 60 yards at halftime, there's more wrong than just poor QB play.

Do you remember how much people complained and lobbied for him to give up play calling? The "fix" was for him to be a walk around coach.

Exactly, the line can't block blame Prescott, wide receivers can't get open blame Prescott, play calling questionable blame Prescott. At this point doesn't
matter who the QB!
