He was directing that to the team because this is the exact situation he was afraid of. Getting injured this year just cost him a lot of money on his final contract. He likely just totally burnt the bridge in Seattle.

Yes, and if you notice below:

He's flipping off the Seattle sideline, so that's EXACTLY what that's about in my mind! My apologies mods. If this needs to be removed or just sent to a link, then that's perfectly fine.

Why would we want him now? He's injury prone. Hawks overplayed their hand. Et overplayed his. Now they both lost.

If we can get him on an incentive deal or a low cost deal to where we're not terribly hurt if he gets hurt here, then I'm all for it. That'd be the best case scenario. He's still got talent. If he's able to get through the season next year without injury, then the incentives could kick in. Otherwise, we don't lose much.

This is exactly why he wanted his extension that he deserved, and that Seattle refused to do so. They fined him for wanting a contract that he had earned with the time and results he had given them. Now he's going into an uncertain free agency with no long term contract.

Truly feel bad for the guy and what Seattle has done to him.

What Seattle has done to him? You mean, like, hold him to his contract?

All pros don’t take incentive deals.

I liked Thomas up until he took a bow in front of the Cowboys' bench last week.

Now I'm starting to believe in karma.
For me it wasn’t so much the bow it was his arrogant statement afterwards implying the cowboys deserved it since we didn’t offer enough ( try hard enough ) to trade for him .. that’s what bugged me more

Lol, I don’t like anyone being injured but I have ZERO sympathy for him, mainly due to the way he handled the entire situation (ie running over to another team he just beat and telling them to come get you). He’s always running his mouth about respect and he did that last year, what a chode.

Fair enough. I do hope we can work out a reasonable deal with him, whatever that would be for someone in his predicament. He's certainly a great player, but the injuries are starting to pile up. Also, strange things do seem to happen when players are in Arizona. It's almost as if that stadium is built on an ancient burial ground with the bad luck that strikes there.
