Does anyone here want JG around?

I've probably answered this a dozen times. People just don't like the answer.

When I see the team losing games because of coaching, I'll want to replace the coach. But not because he made a 50/50 call that didn't work out that sent the horde out screaming for blood.

When he loses the team, or if he demonstrates he's unable to evaluate or develop talent, or if a coach with a better track record at either were available, then I'd want him replaced.

And, honestly, it doesn't seem at all like I'm supporting him to win an internet argument. It seems like you guys want me to share your take and use your criteria for evaluating him so that we can all be in agreement. But my position and my basis for evaluating Garrett haven't ever changed.

I guess this is where the disconnect is, because to me, I have seen the team lose plenty of games due to coaching. And I have seen plenty of failures at evaluating, and developing talent, to make me believe Garret can’t get the job done.

Cool. Not really one we can resolve, either way. Maybe you're right.

I live in the heart of Eagles country.

I can say with pretty good certainty that Eagles fans like Garrett and never want Jerry to can him because he's viewed as a mediocre head coach, at best.

Eagles fans are about the dumbest in the entire NFL.

I don't. He's had long enough. All coaches go through issues with players, rosters, management, whatever and the good ones find a way to be successful with some playoff runs in between. JG has not done this. I don't hate the guy. I think he is well spoken, understands what it means to be a Dallas Cowboy and the expectations that go along with that in regard to the organization. I'd rather see him in a role that suits his ability to speak and represent the organization.

We'd probably disagree on those games. I have seen a couple of them over his career where I think he outright blew it. But know from experience that 80-90% of the time when I see fans blaming a loss on the HC, it's over something like the decision to punt this weekend that actually had a very small impact on the outcome of the game.

While the Eagles fan base is not the brightest group, every other fan base wants us to keep Garrett too. His results speaks for themselves.
I’m on record of giving JG this year to prove it. He’s off to a bad start, but the season ain’t over yet. Cowboys are .5 games behind with 11 games to go. I know for the couch potatoes and Madden players it’s real easy to quit as that is what they do. But not me.

Serious question. I only want to hear from fans who think he should still be our coach.

Just reply “+1” to add your name.

Maybe tell us what you see in him?

YES!!!!, you know what HELL YESSSSSSSSS
