There will only be rare cases where individuals, with a minimal baseline understanding of physics and anatomy, shall arrive at similar conclusions about injuries and how they occur, with other individuals who do not understand—or essentially comprehend ‘all tackling is the same’.

However, this clip is another example that makes me shake my head. I played football. I read or hear others say they played football. I look at the clip and see the force of the intentionally driven tackle transverse through the shoulders into the ground. That specific impact would result in injury in practically all cases. Even so, I know other observers will say, “That tackle was the same as any other.” It is fascinating how opinions sometimes differ.

Romo took some particularly impressive hits during his career.

Romo could walk on the field right now in whatever shape he's in and I guarantee you he could run this offense better than Dak. Instant and massive improvement.

That being said, I wouldn't feel I could rely on Romo staying healthy for a whole season, and I wouldn't want him to risk it.

Where was this presence in 2015 vs Philadelphia and Carolina? Or what about the 2016 preseason game vs Seattle? How’d that expert pocket presence help him stay healthy in those circumstances?
