I'll agree with you that both interceptions were more on the receivers than on Dak. It's not fair to blame Dak for those.

But as a Romo fan who had to listen to YEARS of people blaming him for the exact same kinds of picks, or getting crapped on for throwing a 4th Quarter INT despite throwing 3+ TDs and keeping the team in the game in the first place, I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it.

At this point, I'd take 2-3 INTs a game from Dak if he'd start moving the offense.
No you wouldn't imho. (I'm not calling you a liar savior) No one would, at least not on this board. Romo could move the O but threw int's. That got him roasted all the time on these boards.

So Ken...have you had a chance to go back and look @ the all-22? Did you see how many people were running wide open all over the place...and Dak just flat out didn't see them? Throw in the fumbles..and IMO that might have been one of the worst games I've seen out of him.

Some people will say...well if we win like that...then I'll take those results. Well...people need to realize 2 things.

1. We got lucky the ball bounced our way....those should have been turnovers. And your not gonna beat good teams turning the ball over.

2. Your not gonna beat good teams if you can't find the open receivers ..and get them the football.

That is all...
I did not but I did watch Akoye's breakdown and he was not even remotely down on dak after this game and he is a hater.

My takeaway is after watching it live and watching his breakdown, it's that you are likely blinded by hate at this point.

Edit: check that...I thought this was about jax...I have to go look at it I guess.

It is just stupid to not have a qb on the team in this day and age when all of the rules are in favor of having a high value passing attack. QB's are protected and the game is designed for a passing league, how does having Dak on the team take advantage of these new rules? We have a qb on the team from the Vikings Joe Kapp era...Frigging Wonderful!

Lol.

We are 3rd from the bottom in YAC yards. I m shocked....NOT.

Everything i i saying is lock stock and barrel truth. You guys are placing blame innaccurately.

http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/tmleaders.asp?range=NFL&rank=231&type=Receiving

Notice all the team at the bottom have horrific weapons. All teams at the top have great weapons.

This is not an accident.
that's the point...why are they 3rd from the bottom? because a lot of the passes are behind the WRs, or they have to contort and stop to make catches, instead of catching in stride...even on that one long pass to Austin against the Giants, Austin had to slow down to catch the pass....that's helping the WR..... that's the truth, what you say is fiction and imagination of your mind trying to force yourself to believe Dak is a good QB.....

Strictly your opinion. So leading the team to 40 points against the league's #1 defense is sucky, nothing to enjoy and makes those around him worse? You might want to rethink that.

POST EDIT: On my previous post, I meant to say that Dak has thrown for 300+ yards in at least 9 games out of his first 39 career games, including the 2016 playoff game. Dak is plenty of good.

Um, at least 9 games? He has 4 including the playoff game.

yes...every pass is not on target in your world. What about all of the catches they make? They don't break any tackles and get extra yards. Zeke has..that's it.

Ok, go get one. Where you getting him?

Lots of complaints, but no answers. At least Dak has won 11 in a row and gone 13-3 with a great Oline. Fix the Oline and with this defense we should be a contender no problem. In the meantime, draft a young QB so be it. Any rookie isn't going to start here for a few years anyway.

I draft the kid from Duke or the kid from the Ducks program and start them as rookies 5-6 games in. The problem is that the Giants also have the same plan. Not sure what 11 in a row means, we have multiple losses this year alone...

I can't do it anymore...i can't come on this board and see all of this lazy and useless analysis.

Every pass that isn't perfect is hyper anayzed and overly critiqued to being Dak's fault. Ooooohhhhhh....that ball to Austin requires him to raise his and and jump....and? Did you watch the Texans catching balls all over the place? Did you watch any other nfl games where guys are catching balls all over the place?

Newsflash....we have NO weapons. Who is our guy we are going to with any consistency on 3rd and 7? Who is beating coverage? Nobe of them do it. Not even Beasely.

A few points to ponder:
* we are a running team with a ton invested in the OL and RB. We were ineffective in the run game.
*Both interceptions hit the wrs in the hands.

*Dak Bashers....at this point in Romo's career...he was still carrying a clip board and didn't start his first game until a few more weeks.

It is a travesty how we have given this young qb nothing to work with. I fear we are ruining him with the crapshow we have surrounded him with.
Lol... 190 yards a game. He is amazing.

Crap footwork, slow release, below average arm. Can't wait to give him $100 million. It's going to be great.

He jumped as high as he possibly could, and he could only get fingertips on it. It didn't go through his hands. Uncatchable.

If he hit his fingers its not uncatchable. It was actually closer to his facemask than way above his head.

That is easily caught less than 50% in the NFL. That's on Dak.

Easily caught less than 50%? If its easily caught it would have been caught. I agree it wasn't a great pass but still catchable.

What else can we blame Dak for? Famine? War in the middle east? How bout cancer?

Dak was an elite QB for the first 24 games of his career. 38 TD, 9 INT.

Then he was a bad QB for the next 13 games. 10 TD, 13 INT.

He was elite again Sunday vs the Jaguars. Hopefully the 2016 Dak is back for good.

OBJ makes that catch all day long. Has anyone seen the crap throws he makes plays on?
Naa, it's easier to just blame Prescott for everything.

Ducks have a history of their quarterbacks failing in the NFL - Joey Harrington, Akili Smith, Kellen Clemens, A. J. Feeley. Only one to do fairly well is Mariota, and even lately he's not done very well.

He's worth considering but don't bet the house on him...
