OMG.... I can't believe there are other good players drafted in the First Round

Of course he would be good here and of course we could use him

But we went with LVE and Gallup....not too shabby

Ah, yes. The when all else fails pretend he wouldn't do that here excuse.

Spare me, homer.

BTW, I'm not interested in what your problem with him was. I'm just interested in how good he is.

Funny you think he'd be the same player here...LVE is 2nd in DPOY rankings, Ridley is around 5th for Offensive player of the year. Not apples to apples but it's not like we got a ****** player.
He's had one monster game...just one. 4-6 catches a game and around 60 yards a game WITH his monster game added in, has 6 TDs but may miss the next 4 games.
Those are Terrance Williams type numbers when we had Romo....You'd give up 19th overall for Terrance Williams? Lol. What I can't get over with Ridley was his SPARQ scores He's short and 24 years old ALREADY....I'M A BETTER ATHLETE THAN HIM. Not to mention he'll be 30 by the time his rookie contract is up.

Ridley sucks and he'll never be a #1 receiver which is why so many of us were against taking a WR with our #1, Gallups almost just as good of a prospect and we got him in the 3rd and he's 2 years younger. Ridley is what he is...he's not going to get that much better.

Okay you've convinced me. Ridley sucks and Gallup is almost as good.

This is very simple. Calvin Ridley is an elite #2 WR and went where he should have.
To a team that is throwing the ball 65% of the time behind a former 1st overall draft pick at QB.

DAL is smashmouth offense and playing defense to win and got the best rookie LB who is helping lead them to a top 5 defense showing.

Ridley in DAL would be our 2nd best WR behind Beasley and a really good player but no I wouldn't take Ridley then an R3 LB over LVE then Gallup in 3.

People who consider themselves good at draft evaluation and roster evaluation shouldn't even need to ask these questions.

LVE, CWill, Gallup is about as big a home run as you can get with trading up or drafting early.

Great, look to the past and blame it on not picking players thread, another one.

Zeke was the correct pick over Ramsey.
LVE was probably the best pick over Ridley. Jury still out, but we still got a pretty good player.
plus Ridley has a QB and OC to get the ball to him.

So what about the great Tom Landry not picking Joe Montana over Doug Cosbie. You going to rag about that too?
No but I have a big rant about how we should have pulled the plug on Danny White for Dan Marino when we got a reprieve 4 years after not taking Joe Cool. That's the biggest snafu.
