This is true. Sometimes, I have to pinch myself and say get with the times.

I have come to my senses on this one.

I like the trade.

We get a #4 pick for a #22ish, I'd say, when it's all said and done.

He will fit well in this offense.

He's never played with a back like Zeke

Cooper makes like 450k this year, a nice low number, which jumps close to 14 Million next year before he’s an UFA.

So very little value in the contract. And he’s gonna want to get paid, plus Cooper will have lots of leverage with Dallas trading a first.

Just one more reason this move sucks.

Yes, the front office has panicked.
The only thing I can say about Cooper: In 2017, Dez, Julio Jones & Amari Cooper struggled as WRs. I never could understand why, but they did. And I followed this all last year, scratching my head about it.
I do applaud the front office for recognizing that Dak needs real WR help, and they have acted.
But the problem is the Coaching, and our OL is not as advertised. Dak has been hit twice as much this year already as he was all of 2016.
They still need to improve the OL & TE position to get up to proper form to have a chance.
And... get rid of Carrot. He keeps killing this team over and over and over.

What they get is bent over as usual...

The player may be an improvement but the cost was too steep.

Wasn't Cooper a top level drafted player in the 2015 draft?

He is looking at three seasons at his top potential, starting right now. That is very interesting...and a step forward as to team commitments. Stephen signing off on this deal, makes this fan think that the staff is getting more proficient in allocating values for player retentions. There should now be some good player competition as well as more dependable production...for the entire offense as well.

If the defense maintains a cap level for points per games, at or below 20, the offense should improve to a winning level now, as well.

Jerry really is mentally ill, he is practicing right now for all the press this week, Jerry loves all the attention and if anyone believes this is a good deal they have to be a Raider fan , Jerry just got hosed big time and is to stupid to realize it. Only time will tell here dude, again if we end up going on a winning streak and cooper is a big part of it then I’m ok with it....if we end up at 6 and 10 then I would agree we gave up too much.

Have to see how it plays out this year first
