We have the Garrett offense ... this might very well be the number 1 defense in the NFL, it really matters none .

If this rating holds for the rest of the season and we end the year with the number one scoring defense and yet, miss the playoffs...….
Is this going to be an NFL first?
Has an NFL team ever finished the season number one in points allowed and missed the playoffs before?

This doesn't even take into account that zeke is #2 on rushing also
Honestly if we had #1 rusher and #1 scoring defense and missed the playoffs?

Forgot Zeke is in the running for the #1 rusher. Don’t think he is after this week but having a top 5 RB and #1 defense.... what does that tell us? Oline can obviously block bc Zeke is getting yards.... hmmmm..doesn’t make Dak look too good.

Its just suicidal to post such a stat about our defense , when most likely Garrett will make sure we miss the playoffs and we waste another season full of talented players .

Now that our defense is top 5 why can't our offense get it together?
Garrett has been our OC and head coach for many years now. He has been settling for field goals and conservative play calling for many years. Romo succeeded because he changed the plays at the LOS.
Thus the main issue has been with Garrett and his super simply playbook. We get rid of Garrett our offense will improve. It's that simple.

I'm not the first to say this, but our defense is not as good as we think. Opposing teams know they can be ultraconservative and not take chances, because they know we aren't going to score many points.
The one thing all those Super Bowl top defenses seem to do well is create turnovers and stop 3rd downs.
Takeaways per game: 28th.
3rd down conversion rate: 18th.
