Smith,Lee are outside linebackers. They wait until the levee breaks until they upgrade mlb. Years of Anthony Hitchens. At DT the 3tech and 1tech are manned by overdrafted 3rd rounders not worth their contracts or draft position in Crawford and Collins, a hodgepodge of undrafted or low drafted players in Woods,Irving, Price,Reid,etc. We have two 6th rounders in Woods,Frazier, and a udfa in Heath all eho shouldn't be fulltime starters starting. When you a actually analyze it we're terrible at addressing and upgrading the middle of the defense on all three levels.

The players I listed do not consistently get the turnovers, sacks,and pressures needed to make a difference in games.

Yeah I'm pretty angry at this....I'd have given up a 4th for him and see what kinda deal we could make long term. Safety is a serious need.

This is out best chance in years to make a splash sign for safeties.

We haven’t had 55Mil in Cap space in a very long time. I think it’ll go even higher after we release Hurns & T.Williams also.

In year’s prior we had so much dead cap space from Romo,Dez, Scandrick & others. But now we’re free from it all.

An also the main point.. The best Available FA’s are at our position of need this go around, Safety.

No matter what Jerry does some of our fanbase is never happy. For starters, I'm ecstatic that Jerry even made a move on picking up another WR. And by him doing so in mid season shows that he doesn't wish to toss this season under the bus just yet.

To top it off, he got us a good one. A very young 2X pro bowler. Great adjustment. More weapons for Dak. Give Cooper a chance before comparing him to others.
