Kellen Moore - QB Coach

That's all anyone really needs to know to realize where Dak's career is headed.............................How in the world are you going to improve your young QB's mechanics with a guy who had some of the worst in NFL history ?

That's like asking the main character on "My 600 Pound Life" to create a sensible diet plan for you.......................

Dak has issues, of course. But he has no coaching staff to support his growth. They are stunting his growth.

This is why Linehan has to go. He is responsible for Moore being in that job.

They really do. The rush comes from the outside he spins and tries to out run when he should step up. The pressure comes from inside and he turns into a statue

You don't hire a neophyte who wasn't starting NFL caliber to begin with to coach your struggling young signal caller on mechanics.............................

Much respect to the OP.

There were many of us who saw Dak for what he was on the field early on and were flamed for it.

Now, it's obvious.

The biggest mistake we can make outside of keeping Jason Garrett around is signing Dak to another contract.

Dak has never been a guy that could elevate the team and over come a lot of other players and coaches errors . He seemed to have enough trouble keeping his in check .

That said he did not turn the ball over and lose the game for you either . If everyone did there jobs he could do his and win . Now he is turning the ball over by way of bad decisions and its costing us .

Here is where I draw the line , You cant throw into double coverage on the goal line get it Inted and come away with no points . Audible or if its not there do what the team is built to do run it in .

I think the ATL game ruined him. It was always going to be an uphill battle to develop him into a franchise QB but it was at least a possibility. But now he feels ghosts in the pocket and eyes the rush too much and misses the reads he should be making. He’s done as a starter in this league IMO. Would make a fine game manager backup.

The play calling is a head-scratcher - finessing when we should be balling.
