Can't wait for the other shoe to drop.

Where is Rodger Staubach and his comments?

Once he comes out of the closet with his opinion.,

Jones and this team are officially off the tracks.

Jerry had no problem firing Landry. I am pretty sure he has no real worries about what Roger thinks. He has no real ties to him.

Well Jerrah..

Witten says it on National Broadcasts.

Troy says it in his column.

The team is crap and they do not believe in Jerrah's leadership and coaches any longer.

until now..former players have stayed away from direct criticism,

I listened to Darren Woodson rag on them, too, this morning.

Jerrah..

you are sucking the pride out of the team..

the fans

and the legacy of a once competitive team.

You had a brief window of winning in 1993-1996.

You can't live off that for another 25 years.

Change or lose, Mr. Jones.

That is the rule of nature.

The best way to get to Jerrah..

is to ignore him and render him irrelevant.

Nothing would get to him as that.

Pan him and Stephen's comments going forward.

Fans need to start taking signs to the games and hold them up for the cameras.

"Jerrah..time to retire"

"Garrett, time to go back to Princeton and seek a decree in management."

Just be blunt and clear.
when ticket sales slump, jersey sales go down and people don't buy the Dak jersey's then he will make a decision. until then he won't....the cooper trade wasn't about the offense, it was ticket sales going down and he had to make a move and create hope and stir things up...he was piissed it didn't work last night. you could see it...another game, another down turn in ticket sales and he will make another drastic move...

Jerry is enshrined already in the HOF. He has his gold jacket and 3 Super Bowls. Nothing at all from now on is hurting his legacy. He's set for life.

Which do you think Jones would prefer?

Jones Obituary 1: "Upon purchasing the Dallas Cowboys Jones won 3 super bowls, most give credit to Jimmy Johnson's ability to assemble and coach a team for those early SB wins( including Switzer's win), which was proven by the fact Jones never even made it to another SB"

Jones Obituary 2:"Upon purchasing the Dallas Cowboys Jones won 3 super bowls, most had given credit to Jimmy Johnson's ability to assemble and coach a team for those early SB wins, but Jones proved them wrong by winning another at the end of his carrier""

Some of us have posted about this, but IMO for the first time in forever Jerry is actually in danger of losing a generation of fans. Younger people are already less interested in football, and Jerry is exacerbating the situation by insisting on this stooge head coach who offers zero hope or inspiration to anyone.

Most of us have marveled at how the Cowboys are still as popular as they are despite two playoff wins in 20 years. But Jerry is pushing his luck too far at this point. Eventually that support will fade away without a real chance of winning something.

He's also losing some of us 60' era fans who are slowly recording games instead of watching every play and feeling " we can do this"..... Even in the darkest days it felt like we were progressing rather than regressing with a " we were in it until" week in and week out result....

Is he still making money hand over fist? Yes. Are they still the talk of the league? Yes.

That is all he cares about.
Doubt a 70+ year old man worth over $5 Billion dollars and continues to work everyday in the day to day operations of his business is doing it to make extra money.

Stop it.

He’s not good at building a winning team but he does care...he cares too much and what he cares about the most is proving to himself and the world that he is a football genius. That we won those super bowls because of him and not Jimmy Johnson.

When I went to college in Tampa thats what someone did. They paid for a billboard talking about getting rid of the coach. How much will it cost? Ill do it. Someone get me the number to a nice big one right next the the stadium on the highway.

I'm actually glad to see it............however, knowing how hard headed Jerry is it might just add fuel to keep trying to prove people wrong for another 2 decades............Jerry makes it real easy to dislike him.

Jerry is too stupid and stubborn to make any changes. He will dig in his heels. So he can do it his way. Regardless of the outcome, he needs to do it his way. What a shame this franchise has become because of one man ego.

Most of the tickets are already sold. From season ticket holders
.
So the party pass people will need to stop going. But there are too many fans that want to go for $35. As they increased by $5.
So the secondary market buyers will need to stop buying them, and the season tickets holder will not be able to sell them. As many are out of state or a good 6 hours drive.
So when they don't show up, concession sales are down. Then he will notice. But that will take a while.
Also opposing teams fans may get them at bargain price too.

I just don't see anything of that changing his mind.

I am so glad, and I tell myself this about every day, I am extremely happy I sold my seats 2 years ago, and got out at break even.
No one would want them now.

I would not be too sure.

Staubach has been very supportive of the Cowboys and the Jones'.

If he is negative in anyway..

it will seal a distance with the original Cowboys and the owner.

We will see.

If you live in Dallas..you know Rodger carries alot of weight about this team.

Not turning on the Cowboys, but rather, holding them accountable.
One and the same to me.

When one is as wealthy as the Jones..

accountability is only to each other.

I do not know how many of us have dealt with the really wealthy.

They tend to look at the rest of us like we are clueless and ignorant.

They tend to be very demanding and willing to overpay for anything they want.

Sound familiar?
