Yep. Missed him.Jack del rio
I'm sure there are a few others.
Barry Switzer is still available.

How about someone actually go out, study the guys coaching around the league & college, and actually have a freaking original thought about a promising coach with football smarts and new ideas rather than falling back on some good ole' boy they knew from 35 years ago?
This is freaking ridiculous. Every time we talk about coaches the same 5 freaking names get brought up.
They need to do their damn jobs.
Wouldn't surprise me at all or maybe John Fox. I do not see them bringing in one of the top young guns whose looking for total control. I'm guessing it will be a someone Jerry and/or Stephen know very well and maybe even worked with before. Familiarity is will be critical .....
Wouldn't that make sense? Turner has failed at every HC job, he could be Booger's reclamation project. Failed at a neophyte HC, let's go for a failure retread.
They should have hired him as OC when he was available as he has proven he can bring along young QB's and he has had a positive effect on Newton.
If Garrett is fired, you can bet the list of requirements of a new HC will have "must understand the needs of the GM to be the face of the team" as #1.
Norv Turner, John Fox, or Jeff Fisher would be huge steps backwards and could pretty much kill 40 plus years of fandom for me. Please no.
All I have to say about this, heard he is available:

Jim Harbaugh
Agreed.
Jeff Fisher
Mike Holmgren
Lovie Smith
Norv Turner
John Fox
These would be classic Jerry hires.
