Dak had a good game.....this is the first game where the line gave him some time...Dak also plays better when we go to the no huddle.....
Maybe I don’t really understand physics. But if he is known for holding on to the ball longer than most qbs, how is he being afforded no protection? Somebody has to be wrong.

If you can't admit Dak played well last night it's just your agenda showing.

Team led wire to wire, offense scored on majority of drives and he had 270 yards passing with 2 total TDs and zero turnovers.

Even Collinsworth who spent the first quarter bashing Dak changed his tune and noted some very sharp throws in the second half that moved the chains and the needle on the game.
In the past this team would have played super conservative for a FG when tied but they went twice and scored TDs; largely because Dak was playing very well.

Few have said he didn't play well or capably last night.

What most have argued is this ridiculous rush to say, "See guys, you were wrong, Dak is a really good QB" after one game. It's one game. He played well. He wasn't Brees great but he didn't stink either. It was progress.

And Collinsworth was right to criticize Dak at times last night. And that Dak got lucky on two big plays. If you can't admit that, then your agenda is showing.

Some fans are just dumb. It's like they expect him to be 100% perfect every game and when makes a mistake consider that a total failure.

He had a good game, period.

"Even Collinsworth" is the right way to put it. Even Collinsworth stated the obvious, every young QB has flaws in their game that take time to correct. The issue with Dak is that his rookie season was so good his fan base assumed he was already a finished product.

It's ok. We know you so badly want Dak to fail for your own agenda. Wentz is the king of getting YAC but he is praised as the golden boy. When he's really the most overrated QB in this league and has accomplished nothing.

So Wentz is overrated and where does that leave Dak?

A glorified bus driver that needs every other piece around him to function optimally for him to play moderately well, lol.

You guys are the same people that would be arguing the greatness of Trent Dilfer if you Ravens fans.

He is holding the ball a millisecond longer than Aaron Rodgers.
He took a 2 sacks last night where he had no chance and two where he held it too long.
That's a small problem to have provided he isn't turning it over.

There have been games this OL was beaten like a mule, especially HOU and SEA.
But also times Dak held to way too long hoping for a miraculous play.

The offense hasn't generally called for getting the ball out quickly.
They did a bit of that last night and it worked well to slow down the pass rush.

And it can also be WRs/play call. As they detailed last night in the end zone when he was sacked. The WRs never did anything close to getting open on a really uninspiring play design.
WR and OL were better last night and nor surprisingly so was Dak.

Eagle fans are not happy with Wentz because he fails far too often to bring his team back with less than 4 minutes left in the game. This what many are saying on their forums. I do not know if its true.

What exactly has Wentz “overcome” in his young career? You’re implying that he can play well and carry his team when the rest of his team isn’t “functioning optimally” (while Dak can’t), so let’s dive into that.

Wentz was garbage as a rookie, had an outstanding 2nd year with a TREMENDOUS supporting cast (ask Nick Foles), and has been mediocre in year 3. So when exactly has Wentz done what you think he’s capable of doing?

I’m not saying he doesn’t have the edge over Dak overall right now, but the gap isn’t nearly as wide as you think it is.

Dak was very good last night. Wentz wasn’t quite as good and, as he so often does, came up short in the clutch. Ask Eagles fans about that.

Exactly the opposite.
Just say he played well and keep it pushing.
The same way his defenders said last week he was trash.
It is the week for his haters to be quiet and admit he played well not offer backhanded compliments and excuses.

100% accurate.
Wentz has 2 SEASONS of sub 500 ball to his name and 1 season of elite level MVP play.
Dak has 1 Pro Bowl season, 1 9 win season and this 1 season of below 500 play.

They have been at best equitable and Dak holds the overall edge in wins and winning percentage.

Wentz is still the better prospect and the guy you;d want if all things were equal but all things are not equal.
He cost them a boatload of draft capital and costs them 7m a year plus has serious injury concerns.
Dak has a lower ceiling but a much higher floor and much less investment.

It's like saying I'd rather have Joey Bosa then Taco Charlton... ummm ok cool story bro. Now tell me how what else you give up in the swap.

No their offense isn't better than ours. Just because we've laid an egg this season doesn't mean stupid comments are rational.

Eagles Wentz is 3/13 on game winning drives. With the way everyone’s been playing I can’t say I’m confident.

Eagles Time to take Wentz off that pedestal. Also, if Jim Schwartz is still here next season I’ll find something else to do than waste my time watching this sorry *** team.

Steelers Man seeing Vander Esch play for the Cowboys gets me angry. Dude looked like he had All-Pro potential and he has hit the NFL running with the Cowboys. Imagine when Lee gets back they’ll have Jaylon Smith at the Will, Sean Lee at the Mike and Vander Esch at the Sam. Athleticism for day!

so 230 yards passing and 2 tds per game is somehow impressive in a record setting, pass heavy league?

How the mighty have fallen...

Good on you Dak for not costing us another game this week. We are very appreciative for you doing the bare minimum wrt your job... On to next week!

I think the Eagles were missing half their secondary weren't they? Since I said before the game... We should see "Dak separation." That Amari would have a good game, etc...
Their secondary right now is crap.

He still missed easy throws... like the one to Zeke... He still isn't a franchise QB. 1 out of every 10 games he plays better than the backup he should be, is not going to change that.

But, I knew after this game there would be a bunch of... Told you Dak was awesome! lol

I still want a QB here in Dallas.
