the whisperers begin...

Is the little boy Rick's? He looked closer to 3 or 4 years old than 5 or 6.

i liked michonne talking to rick by the bridge. in her bedroom, not so much. not sure who the little boy is but yea, if ricks, lets see...6 years gone. so if he's 5+ that's not too bad and could be. the question of the day is the X on michonne and i guess someone got a kidney. pretty advanced surgery for what they have i would think. anyone else got a read on the X scar on her back?

i like the dynamics of the new guys. but you have to ask yourself after 10+ years,how many random groups are still foraging in the woods vs. having already found a place? i just wonder about more of their background that had them lost in a field needing an 11 year old girl to save them. twice.

carol has certainly not lost it. as they say, timing is everything. but that clears up the saviors and where they are in life. well, death. they b gone.

hilltop - no idea who the leader is so i guess we'll find out next week.

negan still in prison. i dig the talks judith and have. well had cause we only saw 1 but you can tell negan loves talking to her. she loves math cause it's right or wrong, not like people. smart girl. she is doing a good job on this part as well.

and now - the whisperers. that explains what turned around the herd; they did. eugene and the chic had to freak thinking it was the zombies talking but as we've discussed in here, it's the next group of bad people to come along. the problem with putting zombie skin on to lead them around is that's easy to flip back on you. i'll keep an eye out for that happening to them at some point but likely next season.

a lot has changed. so far so good. we'll see what carol and daryl have going on next up. training the ninja-knight wanna be?

The good...
-The pacing was decent
-Negan/Judith
-Carol still being a bad-arse

The bad...
-The CGI fire wasn't good

The interesting...
-Michonne/Rick had a son
-The newcomers weren't asked "The 3 Questions"
-We know that the sanctuary is kaput

The creepy...
-The "Whisperers" leading the herd and using creepy voices to communicate. The one voice that said, "Don't let them get away" reminded me of one of the radiation-deformed cannibals in the "Hills Have Eyes" remake.

Oh, I would guess Enid is the new leader at "The Hilltop".

I'll add creepy was the kiss between Rosita and preacher.lol. I didn't see that coming at all, idk if it was their acting but that scene seemed unnatural and forced. Rosita actress isn't exactly Meryl Streep, maybe that was it

One thing that I find very unrealistic is they had an 11 year old, 4 foot tall, 65 pound girl getting off headshots from twenty plus feet with Rick's 2 to 3 pound Colt Python. That much weight and recoil, ain't buying it.

That was the baby of a guy Rick killed, Aaron took her in.

I enjoyed the episode very much.

I liked Michione talking to him at the bridge. I am very interested in the X scar, and I believe it's got to have something to do with why she's so unwilling to trust, or give, these new people a chance. Especially since it's flying in the face of the world that Rick, via Carl, was trying to create.

I'm thinking there was some sort of major issue (Which would make sense) at some point during the six year skip that has turned her against helping people as easily. I think the scar has something to do with that.

Is the boy supposedly hers and Rick's? I know they had Rick say something about having a kid with her, to her, before he died but I feel like the kid is too young to be the child of Rick. Maybe I'm wrong there.

I love Judith. I love that she's got a lot of her brother and Dad in her and I liked that she is actually still trying to be the kind, helpful, person to help build the world that her brother and father were trying to move toward.

I don't get Gabriel and Rosita at all. I didn't see that coming and I'm sorry it simply makes absolutely no sense to me.

Carol....wow. I was starting to get a little bit worried they'd turned her into a wuss but WOW. She proved that wrong in a hurry. You still don't jack with that woman.

I'm looking forward to the remainder of the season. It should be pretty good I think.

I believe it's only 2 more before winter break. Probably start back up again in February.

i'll have to say i've spent the last few seasons *****ing like many, but still watching. i'm glad i did now cause i'm honestly anxious to see what they do with this. i'm enjoying watching it again.

it won't EVER be what it was to start. but it can be more than it turned into and now we have that chance to see them do just that.

Agreed. Thoroughly enjoyed this season. Interested in the Rixk Grimes movies too. They pulled me back in when I was nearly out.

Episode 9-7... 11-18-18

I'm done with this show. Rick is still alive, yay! But this time jump is more than I care to keep up with. The show has now jumped the shark.
