Our defense is looking better and better. While I predicted we lose to the Saints, and I still do, I’m starting to think it may be closer then I originally thought. Offense still needs to get better but their defense isn’t all that.

Pencil that one in the loss column. It would take a creative gameplan catered to only the Saints and I don't expect that from this staff.

Playing ball-control is best yet be aggressive at opportune times.......can't play not to lose against them. I don't think it will be a lopsided loss though, probably pretty close throughout.

Everyone keeps talking about a win Thursday gets us a TIE in the NFCE. Great! Only problem is the 'Skins already got their L from the Saints. Philly too. We play defense and we run the ball well so that right there gives us a chance.

Anyway I'm sick of the Saints. These ****ers on TV celebrating and interviewing every week like they already have this wrapped up and won a Super Bowl. There's plenty of football left and nothing will be easy for them even though they seem to think it is. They will hit a rough patch.

It’s less that and more the thinking that any discussion worth having about the playoffs going forward requires us to beat them. In other words, there’s nothing to talk about unless we assume a win over Washington.

I think we have a very slim chance to win but the NFL is funny like that. Still a long way to go. No one gave us any chance in 2009 when the Saints were 13-0 and playing at home on a Sat night. Not only did we win but we dominated most of that game. No one gave us any chance last week against the Eagles. Not that the Eagles are on their level but it is the same concept.

We can't get into a shootout, though. We need to play ball control but have to come away with TDs and not FGs. That is our only shot.

If we get zeke about 25-30 touches and 5-6 passing targets plus if the defense plays lights out with about 4-6 sacks on Brees then we have a shot.
