LVE changed this defense. Dak still a liability

Which proofs my point. YPA is a combination of a play made by a QB AND a Receiver.
I do think the same answer would apply right? that all QBs YPA is counted that way..... still makes for a good stat for Dak, unless you are implying that our WRs get separation and open better than other teams? now I don't think your implying that.

Keep on with the 13 points mantra. We could have easily scored 27 points.

Go on to his accuracy.. Oh yeah.. He was 24-28. Well, go on to his holding the ball too long. Oh yeah, those numbers have changed since we got Cooper. Well, keep hating the Cowboys troll.

We haven't won in so long that our fans get overly excited when we show a hint of improvement. We are trying to be like the Patriots and Steelers, you know teams that advance deep into the playoffs every year.
The fact that JJ and JG were so giddy after the win shows you that we cant even "act like we've been there before".

i mentioned about a week ago, with some blowback, that our D is borderline top 5 and could heat up near the end of the season. I didn’t think they would look THIS good, but we may have just mentally broken the Saints.

LVE is the #1 reason for this, he has changed the entire way this defense plays, which is becoming far more aggressive with tackling and getting takeaways. While I’m still not completely sold on our secondary, Awuzie and Brown stepped up last night.

The offense is a different story - this is reminding me a lot of what we saw last year with the Jags. Yeah, it was great we dominated the clock, but we put up 0 points in the second half and topped out at 13 points.

I don’t like Dak, but there were some positives - that run where he broke two tackles for the first, that got me pumped up....then goes on to miss Gallup who would have the game clinching TD and proceeds to fumble in the red zone. You gotta make those plays, dude.

You can win a Super Bowl with the level the D is playing at right now - but the missed opportunities that we had last night and the turnover, most of the time great offenses will take advantage of these and luckily our D broke the Saints.

Some kudos needs to go to Garrett - I think he feels his seat pretty much on fire right now and he had this team prepared against the most dangerous team in the league. Jerry, see what happens when you don’t allow your coaches and players to ever feel they have job security?
Can't disagree.....

I am not implying anything. Somebody used YPA to make Dak look good. I just pointed out that YPA is not only the QBs work.

Give it a rest. Dak gets blamed for everything. Good gracious granny, can't everyone just enjoy the win. We get that people don't like Garrett, Dak, Linehan.

Dak carried the team to the play-offs as a rookie. The team had a ton of adversity last season. This year the team cut Dez, lost Witten and Frederick. The team tried to upgrade the line coach which was an obvious failure.

Jerry and Garrett fire the O-line coach.
Jerry trades for Cooper.
Dallas starts winning consistently with Dak as the QB.
Dallas beats the best team in the NFL.
Most fans enjoy their day and basked at how this team rallied as a team with all 46 players contributing to the team win.

Dak had a rating of 115.5 and completed 86% of his passes.

We did win, right? Am I missing something?

Really? Dak carried?
Zeke and the OL carried a lot more in 2016; this year Dak is being carried so far.

Jerry didn't do anything, why do you people make Sh** up ? Garrett was never going anywhere and Jerry never hinted otherwise, he showed unwavering support.

What was his YPA?

8.9?

Let me guess there’s a couple of throws we need to omit from the stats to get a true picture of his performance.

Exactly, that fool doesn't know what dink and donk is.

I’m not sure why it’s so important to attempt to elevate yourself above those fans who criticize Dak?

It reminds of the same issues and agendas we went thru with the “ Romoholics” you’re calling out.

Some of these Daksters appear to have some agendas also which might be attached to their criticism of Romo.

And there’s no reason for it to ruin your enjoyment. Just like we tried to tell the Romoholics for years. Ignore.

But continuing an attempt to elevate or divide isn’t very enjoyable for the rest of us. As always there’s two extremes on an issue and you are becoming the other extreme. Just saying...

What makes the over the top Dak critics whine so much about a young qb still leaning. Knowledgeable fans understood starting Dak way early there would be growing pains, fans act as if he should be a finished product based on his rookie season. This young qb came into a very high profile organization and has been a leader, has made big time plays in big time situations, and we got people wanting to run him out.....SMH

One of the dumber things on this board is this notion that just because we log a W that means criticism of the team’s play is off limits.

We scored 13 points in that game. Sure we got the W, largely because of a Herculean effort by the D. The offense kind of stunk.
